Nanuk Case w/foam - Black 915-1001

This case is simply fantastic. I love the ease of use regarding the latch system. It makes opening and closing the case so much easier. This is definitely at par if not a bit better than Pelican due to the fact that you might not have to lose a fingernail in order to open the case. The construction is solid and the quality ( fit and finish ) is impressive. I actually bought this case because Pelican did not have this particular size. I found Nanuk quite more appealing due to the choices in sizes in that respect. The foam is solid and it is plenty for me to hold my stuff nice and snug. A+++ experience all the way here.

These cases are fantastic! I bought one for my new camera being I was traveling on a road trip and I knew it would be tossed around a lot in the RV we rented. I got one with dividers and they are very easy to customize. The latches are far superior to some of the other brands and this thing is solid as a rock!

What a beautiful case. I bought the empty model and the product and protection it had slipped right in place. Solid latches and appears to be waterproof. Save your money and dont buy the cheaper knockoffs.

I bought this as a case to carry my Nikon 80-400mm lens in safety and protection. I love that it had a configurable pick-and-pull insert that I could setup specifically for my lens. The hard outer case, locking mechanism and sturdiness give me confidence that a very expensive lens will be safe during travel.

I actually like nanuk better than my pelican cases the latches are awesome design the handles have grippy soft rubber they are sturdy all around great protection for firearms and gear.

Got this on a great deal - about $40. At that price it cant be beat. Nanuk cases are not quite as sturdy as Pelican, but have a much better latch design: they stay closed without requiring the force that Pelican latches require. The padded interior is thick around the edges (about 1) with half inch dividers. I use mine as a heavy duty case for 2 sets of binoculars - a bulky porro prism 7x50 and a small 8x25. The 7x50 is a snug fit. Using the long divider bent into a curve I can make 2 compartments. I also own a 925 and an 940 - both are excellent cases, though the 940 could benefit from side latches, as in the 945.

I should give it one star because now all the service techs want one... Seriously though, very solidly put together. Would recommend.
