Cool around my neck when it is hot. Good battery life. 3 speeds - and the highest is plenty when it is a warm day in my neighborhood! Good battery life Would also make a nice gift.

I recently got a hand held fan to use while spending hours each week mowing my very large yard. I later realized that mowing using a ZTR mower requires the full time use of both hands therefore making the use a hand held fan impossible except during breaks in the shade. I decided to add this neck model to be able to have a fan running constantly while freeing up both hands to drive my ZTR. This will lessen or eliminate the time needed to take breaks in order to cool of in the shade. Now I have more time for enjoyable activities. It is much bigger than the ad photo makes it look, which is good. After topping off its large capacity 4000mAh battery I was able to mow my yard in a record one hour and fifteen minutes with the fan running the entire time and it is still going strong. It did a very good job of keeping me from overheating during a pretty hot and muggy day. This was the answer I was looking for and I recommend it for everyone who has to work outside this summer.

You can see in the picture that the fan I got is defected. It’s a little loud and not that “ cold”, but it’s sturdy and OK to have during the heat season. I will need to return and get a new one. I hope the new one is fine. Could be the opening causes so loud.

This comfortable, wearable collar style cooling fan, comes charged right out of the box. When I picked it up it started, having inadvertently turned on the unit. Its quiet, with three settings, an easily positioned for a nice fit. It balances the divide between too tight to wear when active and too loose and it will fall off. The head an neck are (one of the) bodys natural radiators and this fan accelerates evaporation. Clever and effective. The (included) USB-A cord plugs into a standard adapter (not included).

Used this last night at a Braves game and what a game changer. I have super thick hair and during the late Spring and Summer I am hot. I never thought to bring a fan with me until I saw parents at a local football game use theirs. I love that I dont have to hold this, it just lays around my neck comfortably and I was cool the entire time I was at the game last night.

This fan provides lits if airflow without tge worry of hair getting caught in spinning blades. The motors are nearly whisper silent and have three escalating speed settings that put out lots of air in a hurry. The only downside I found is the slots the air comes out if are painted more stright up and some of the air rushes past my face and head insted of blowing onto my face and head.

Hubby loves his…neighbor wanted one, so it made a great birthday gift! It works well for hot summer days. Also keeps gnats away in the evening!battery will last for the two hours to mow the lawn…it never needed a charge. I never used it until it died so I don’t know how much longer the battery lasts, sorry.

Neck fans are one of those things that tend to work only for certain people in certain situations. My kids going to camp are those people, and camp is definitely one of those situations. We tried it out and it works very, very well -- testing the fan on a hot pre-summer day on a porch. The fan blows strong cold air and is pretty quiet, which makes it even more attractive for use during rest period at camp. The only problem is that you have to charge it, its not something that you can buy batteries for. While thats a good thing (and environmentally friendly) under normal circumstances, it does present a little bit of a challenge in a camp setting. But theres always an outlet somewhere and there should be a way to put the power back in after it is used. I will say that it lasts for a good long time before running out -- hours and hours of consistent use. This is a well made, well operating neck fan.
