NECOICHI Raised Cat Water Bowl, Elevated, with Measurement Lines, Dishwasher and Microwave Safe (Cat, Extra Tall)

decided to buy 10 of these for our 10 creatures instead of the large raised food one with a smaller width. Although these are lower to the ground (wish they were same height as food ones though), i thought these would be better for wet food and bigger cats and they are, plus i noticed that base bottom had a depth to it and a decent width opening and thought turning these upside down and using it for the 2tbsp of dry we feed twice a day would work out perfect, which it does (depth is like 1 inch). To make up for height when feeding wetfood, i put these on the 10oz Harmony Ceramic Cat Saucer (https://smile.amazon.com/Harmony-Ceramic-Saucer-Mouse-Print/dp/B074V7KSML/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1523591171&sr=8-2&keywords=Harmony+Ceramic+Cat+Saucer) that are 1 1/2 inches high when turned upside down and it looks like they go together. these were kinda pricey, especially when buying for 10 cats but, i am happy with my 2-in-1 purchase since i can feed dry on one end and not have to wash it when i feed wet food a couple hours later. saves me from having to wash their food dishes 4 times a day, only have to do so twice now! As for it being a water bowl, maybe if you have 1-2 cats that only eat wet-food but, i personally wouldnt even use it as a water bowl if i did only have 2 cats, too small for one to me. All my bowls arrived intact and well protected. only 2 of the bowls had minor manufacturing defects like too much glaze in some areas and a couple bubbles on outside of one, other than that, they were all perfect.. they are on heavy side and awkward to hold when washing, so if you have hand issues and wash your dishes by hand too, it may be a problem for you as well. am actually now considering replacing our old ignored dishwasher just for these for i feel like i am going to break these when i hand wash them!

Ive always felt my kitties should not have to always stoop to drink their water and used a water cup by the sink. I did switch to a bowl and then recently saw this Necoichci bowl which is the best of both worlds. We left her water dish out and let her decide which one she wanted to use more. After a few days she started using the Necoichi bowl so we retired the other one.

For a water dish, this may seem pretty pricey, but I love the raised design it has. In the past, I would use over-sized mugs as water vessels for my cats, they seemed to like drinking out of things that were taller than your average cat dish. Its nice to know how much water my kitties are drinking each day thanks to the measurement lines on the side of the dish. The base is nice and sturdy. One of my cats got into the habit of knocking over the mugs(that were full of water) for no apparent reason, which is why I stopped using mugs. He has not tried to knock this dish over yet. I have it on a food mat, so I wouldnt have to worry about it breaking if he does tip it over at some point. I cant comment on if it helps two of my senior cats drink easier, all 4 of my cats primary source of water is a electric water fountain which is in another room, but this dish is nice to get for those who like to spoil their kitties :)

I got two of these, for dry food and water. Its not big enough for water in my opinion. It holds a cup and a half to two cups- I was refilling it 2x a day. Granted I have an older cat with kidney issues who drinks a lot. I went back to the big ceramic bowl. But, she drank from it without putting her paw in the water bowl which is what I was hoping would happen (new habit, I dont think she can see the water level). But as she drank on the edge when the bowl was full some would drip up over and down. But I love the bowls, theyre really cute, and perfect for the dry food. I got the middle size bowl for wet food and Ill continue to use those two bowls.

This extra tall version is even better than the original version that I already had. Our old cats use it and seem to prefer it over all other water bowls. They are also nice looking and extremely good quality plus easy to clean.

Attractive, good for my kittys health, easy to clean. Highly recommend.

I bought this bowl for my cats because I wanted to spoil them with something really cute. We tried different water bowls and the only one they like to drink from is a small ramekin. I read that cats have poor near vision and are not able to see still water, so I thought the colorful jellybeans at the bottom of the bowl would entice them to at least notice and drink more water… but it actually backfired on me. Those rascals tried to “fish” the jellybeans out of the bowl with their paws thinking that it’s some sort of food in there, making a huge mess with water spilled everywhere. I’m only knocking off the stars because… cats. You give them a perfectly functional and cute water bowl but you never know what’s going on in their heads sometimes!

The NECOICHI water and feed dishes improved the health of my twelve year feline cat. Both it’s elevated style and added lip on the dish made meal time enjoyable!!! Try it and see for yourself. I loved how it added comfort to the life of my cat. And you will, too.

My cat and I recently moved to a new state, which was understandably stressful for him. He seemed to be settling in okay, but, for whatever reason, he refused to drink the water in our new home. He would only drink water if I cupped it in my hands, and he wasnt getting nearly enough, so I was quite concerned, especially as he normally drinks a lot. I tried everything the vet suggested, but it got to the point where he would only drink water if I mixed it with tuna or canned food. I bought this bowl mainly because I wanted to measure how much liquid he was actually taking in, but it ended up being the magic solution. I dont know if it was just coincidence, but he drank and drank the second I filled up this bowl and put it down. Its been a few months and hes completely back to normal, but this is still far and away his preferred dish. Hes a pretty big guy, and I think he really likes not having to hunch way over to reach his water. He also loves playing in his water bowls and regularly drowning his mousies, so its great to have a sturdy bowl that he cant knock over (and he tries). Its a little pricy, but I highly recommend this bowl!
