I definitely pricked myself a few times. TAKE YOUR TIME. It may not look perfect, but it’s a decent kit for beginners. I think it’s cute, but it takes practice to get it to look as neat as the product picture. Overall I think it’s worth the buy.

Everything you need to try it without investing a fortune up front

Bought this as a Christmas gift so I will not be using it myself. The box did come undamaged and makes a perfect gift box so I do not need to do any wrapping. I think I’ll just tape the sides close so it doesn’t pop open. I’m not sure what the material is on the box but it’s has a nice texture. The bow is cute though it’s clearly just hot glued on along with the ribbon. Had to pull off a glue string, but that wasn’t a problem to me. The only imperfection would be the top left corner right above the bow where there is a small crease in the fabric. But that not a deal breaker, it’s hardly noticeable. Overall, very cute giftable box. As for the contents inside the box. Everything seems to be there. I didn’t want to open anything as it is a gift. I can’t say whether the instructions are easy to follow but it looks like the numbers on the bags coincide with the character in the instructions. So everything you need beside the tools to make one character is all in one bag. I am confident to say everything that was advertise is there even the black eye pegs. If I get any photos from the person I gift this to of anything they make I will be sure to add them and ask how easy it was to follow the instructions.

I purchased these as a gift.

Kit instructions lacked basic instructions, like HOW to actually DO the needle felting. The instruction say, start felting but never explain how. It required additional research, which defeats the purpose of a beginners kit.

First time I tried felting. Great little kit. There’s enough extra material to make each doll twice so you can do a trial. Comes with literally everything you need including finger protectors and scissors. Warning, if you’re a bit heavy handed like me you’ll need to get some extra needles- apparently needle breaking is not unusual. I’m not an instruction reader so I just followed the diagrams. Pretty easy to decipher. Absolutely 0 regrets.

This was my first time needle felting. I really enjoyed the kit. It does seem to be missing the pink to make the noses but other than that it was a great starter kit!

I had never even heard of needle felting before buying this kit. It provided hours of fun keeping me sane while recovering from surgery. While my cats don’t look exactly like the picture they are all very cute and I am super excited to have learned how to do a new craft. I’m obsessed! I also thought it was a great value for the price. Yay for learning something new!
