All my impact sockets are Neikos. They cant be beat for high quality 6-point impact sockets, and all at a very competitive price. They are tough black phosphate coated Cr-V and made in Taiwan. Many outstanding tools and knives are made in Taiwan. Nice and bright laser etching too, which makes grabbing the right size so much easier. As far as the Cr-Mo vs. Cr-V for impact socket discussion...the metallurgical difference between them is insignificant in these applications. The consistency of the material, the tool geometry, the hardness to which it is heated, and the design and implementation of the manufacturing process control the differences in quality. These are not made the same as the Cr-V chrome sockets, which are of course made for a different application. Those are harder and thinner with an easily cleaned chrome finish and used with hand tools such as ratchets. These sockets come nicely oiled up and in a great case. I actually keep them stored in the case in my toolbox because it is very compact and the sockets are easily removed - they dont snap in, but are just nested. So bottom line, you can buy this 3/8 master set without reservation. And huge kudos to Amazon for the 2.5 hour delivery!!!

These are good for the money. I cant complain, so far holding up.

This socket set is excellent and the best value. This is not my first Neiko purchase and I am never disappointed. It is for home use.

The tools have held up awesome. The latches on the case broke less than month in. I love the tools, the case is nice, the latches just don’t hold up.

Great set! Sizes are etched on (which will wear off eventually) but are also stamped in which is basically permanent. Have used with impact and had no issues with a Milwaukee 18v lithium brushless. Universal joint is super handy for tougher to reach spots.

Everything is perfect.
