> 24 hourThis thing is a blast. I’m a 48 year old man, and if you enjoy hitting targets and just plinking around at house items while sitting on your arse, get it. I teach a summer Star Wars camp I’m which we have Nerf wars, so I got this blaster for myself. The Rivals are a different world from the dart guns. They shoot far, fast and accurately. I don’t agree at all with the reviews rating this down for being on target. This thing hits a golf ball sized target dead on from 30 feet - for a Nerf gun, that’s pretty damn good. It holds a ton of ammo and is easy to load. The heft and feel is satisfying as hell, and the cock and pop of firing is delightful. Just what an action adventure wanna-be dad...or wife...or kid needs.

> 24 hourFor me, five stars means a perfect product. So let me get into the pros and cons of this blaster. First, lets just get the bad stuff out of the way: [CONS: TL;DR] -Weak safety mechanism -Weird hop-up system -Not mag-fed -Slightly awkward shoulder stock [CONS BREAKDOWN] So I have actually used two of these blaster. On the two that Ive tried (one I own and one of a friends) both had a weak safety mech. It barely keeps the safety on (cannot shoot) when the switch is raised. Very weak system, especially compared to something like the Kronos, where you feel like there is a legit safety. The hop-up system feels less refined than the other guns. I can shoot my Kronos quite accurately, up/down and left/right. The Hades is accurate slightly less accurate up/down and if you tilt the gun too far to the left or right, have fun trying to adjust. Chances are the round will not go where you want it to go. Now dont get me wrong, it is still more accurate than most dart blasters, but the hop-up just doesnt quite compare to the other Ghost Ops/Rival blasters. It isnt mag fed, but this is probably the weakest con and really has to do with personal preference, especially with this blaster, due to its massive capacity. I like being able to carry mags and use them sometimes, which this blaster doesnt really allow. The shoulder stock sits kinda awkwardly on my shoulder. Now I am 6 tall, but this gun is particularly large and the length of the stock is great, but the pad on the end is too short and wide. Doesnt sit right. However, since blasters have no kick, and it doesnt way 10 pounds, it isnt a big deal. [PROS: TL;DR] +60 round capacity! +Slam Fire +High FPS (Rival standard) +Easy loading mechanism +Great grip +Solid feel +Beautiful aesthetics +No jamming [PROS BREAKDOWN] So about the whole not mag fed yeah... that doesnt matter too much with this blaster. With 60 rounds, especially with it being a springer, you will be shooting for ages. Sure, it can take a while to reload, which sucks if you are 100% empty, but if you scavenge, or just have extra rounds on you, it is easy to throw in 20 rounds here and there. I personally really like slam fire, even if it makes it harder to mod. I dont think I need to discuss this too much, but it allows you to just hold down the trigger and continuously prime the blaster and have it shoot. Great FPS, compared to dart blasters. And with the hop-up system, you get some amazing range out of this blaster. The loading mechanism makes it easy to load and when it is slid all the way back, you dont have to worry about the rounds falling out of the blaster. So you can pull the slide back and bend over to retrieve rounds at zero risk. Shoot, you could load it upside down if you wanted to. The thumb-hole grip is ACTUALLY GOOD. FINALLY. I have big hands and this gun is great, but I think it would be fine even if you had smaller hands. The front grip feels really solid too and is also EXTREMELY easy to modify. The gun just feels solid when you hold it. Not creaky, smooth action, good weight and balance, comfortable grips. Nothing to complain about here, except the butt of the stock. I mean have you seen this blaster? It is gorgeous. The thumb-hole stock looks great, the three feeding tubes, the blaster is long (closer to an actual gun), great shape and line, etc. And lastly, no jamming at all! Ive fire 500 rounds and didnt experience a single jam. Even though there is an unjamming switch, I never had to use it. [CONCLUSION] This blaster isnt perfect, but it is already one of my favorites and none of the cons even come close to ruining this blaster. My only hope is that the safety doesnt loosen up. But you could still easily fix that with a little glue. So I give this 4/5 stars.

> 24 hourI like how Amazon asks about accuracy. No Nerf gun is accurate. But this Nerf gun is really really fun. It holds a ridiculous amount of ammunition and is excellent for peppering your six-year old son when he falls under the impression he can win a Nerf battle. This gun is definitely big for small children. I dont ever look at what the manufacturer recommends, but I probably wouldnt give this one to less than a ten-year old. But my 42 year old self can light up some of my son and his friends with it!

> 24 hourThis thing is a beast! We use it with kids and adults for nerf battles and it never lets us down. I love the power and how much ammo it will hold. Downfall is it takes a little bit to load the gun
