Nero Burn Express Version 4

If you had a Zero rating, I would have used it! Didnt work for me and if I understood it right, the real version was an upgrade they wanted to sell. Took a long time to get assistance to remove it from my computer, and they only did so after some ugly discussions back and forth.

Wanted to burn videos to DVDs, this software was completely useless

Easy to set up and use

I paid for a trial, and upon download, a screen appeared with a number, which I took to be the S/N, but when I entered it to activate the program, instead of displaying Not a valid S/N, it displayed Your trial subscription has expired - maybe 2 MINUTES after its initial download! - Then I tried their Support window and all they kept telling me was the same damned thing., Your subscription has expired. Avoid their TRIAL !!!!!

I have used Nero for years and have always been very happy with it and I ordered this version for my new computer because I do like it and I understand the interface, What I found was that this will not work on Windows 11. It will probably work fine on some older Windows versions but I gave it 1 star to call attention to this problem. The Nero premium version has gotten a little to expensive for me so I changed to another brand. I hope it is easy to use.

I have used Nero products for many years and have been pleased. The old burning ROM was excellent. Nero Burn Express 4 is not user friendly and even though I purchased the product outright, it would not let me use all the functions. The final straw was when I was making a copy of a DVD program I created and it stopped part way through and would not complete the task. Then when I tried to use my original Disc, it would not load. Not sure what happened but I had to recreate my original. Eventually I downloaded an open source program to make my copies. I contacted Nero and they were no help.
