> 3 dayReally cute and pretty durable. This is better than most umbrellas Ive bought (typically the $5 variety). It could last a long time if used and cared for properly. Mine have to endure small children, and this is doing well so far.

> 3 dayA very light umbrella and so it doesnt take up much space in my wifes purse or add extra weight. She did use it for standing in the hot sun and recently for the rain. Her only complaint is that the umbrella doesnt have a button to automatically close, which is important when entering the car in the rain. She likes that it is colorful.

Greater than one weekI have no intention of using this umbrella to avoid the sun, but when it rains, its perfect, I dont think even with its wonderful fabric it will completely stop drips from falling unto the floor, but its an improvement from all of the other umbrellas that I own.

Greater than one weekUse it all the time! Only wish would be for it to be a bit bigger but dries quickly, fits in my handbag, and looks cute.

> 3 dayI own a number of Totes umbrellas -- they all work pretty much the same (push-button handle that opens the umbrella, attached Velcro strap to keep it closed). This one claims to have a SunGuard feature that blocks 98% of UV rays and keeps the user cooler -- this means you can use this on sunny days as well as rainy ones (a nice plus!). I cant really comment on the claim of protection from UV rays, but I did try this out on my very hot deck and it did provide some relief from the glare of the sun. The high humidity here in Maryland is a problem, though, but if you live in a dryer part of the country, this should really help on hot days.
