> 3 dayWeve had a lot of rain these past couple of weeks and so I have had many opportunities to try this umbrella out. I was very intrigued with its claims that water just rolls off it and it doesnt stay wet like most umbrellas. I hate dealing with a wet umbrella! Now many stores have plastic bags for your umbrellas when you enter. I have been pretty impressed with the Never Wet coating that is on this umbrella. It really does work. Its significantly drier than traditional umbrellas. Its not perfectly dry, but the difference is definitely noticeable. Its not dripping wet. The one push button works as expected. I really like the stretchy bungy type cord handle. I will have to look for the Never Wet feature the next time I need to purchase an umbrella.

> 3 dayBought this for my 3rd grader for school this year as her class is in a portable and she will be out in the rain at times. Her only request was leopard print. I had more requirements! I wanted something that was push button open and close and that was compact yet not tiny when open. She has used this many times since the school year started and it’s been great. She’s had no problems with it and she has had several classmates asking about it.

> 3 dayI spent a little extra on an umbrella for the easy open/close feature. Guess it wasnt worth it considering the umbrella lasted a week & 2 days before one of the rods snapped.

> 3 dayThe item came with one of the arms bent. This was a gift for my daughter and the quality wasn’t even close to the totes umbrella I currently have. Tried to return it but by the time I was able to get it back and return it the 30 day deadline had passed by two days. I will definitely buy out of the store next time.

> 3 dayThis is a decent backup umbrella. While it auto opens and closes the mechanism doesn’t feel as sturdy as other umbrellas I have. It does repel water as claimed but I wonder how long that will last. It doesn’t stand up to wind that well either.

> 3 dayI own a number of Totes umbrellas -- they all work pretty much the same (push-button handle that opens the umbrella, attached Velcro strap to keep it closed). This one claims to have a SunGuard feature that blocks 98% of UV rays and keeps the user cooler -- this means you can use this on sunny days as well as rainy ones (a nice plus!). I cant really comment on the claim of protection from UV rays, but I did try this out on my very hot deck and it did provide some relief from the glare of the sun. The high humidity here in Maryland is a problem, though, but if you live in a dryer part of the country, this should really help on hot days.
