It takes up very little space and holds 84 spools of thread. I also bought their 64 spools of thread and then filled up the 20 extra with background sulky thread and qulting thread! Fast shipping as well. I cannot say enough good things about this product!

This product is very nice. The tread stays put. I can see all colors at once. And by the way there tread is excellent. I bought it for embroidery but my daughter liked the colors and used it on her sewing machine. It worked great.

Only one dowel was broken, which was actually a surprise because of the way it was packed the dowels were poking through the box. I thought a lot more of the dowels were going to be broken when I first opened it. It comes assembled which is convenient.

We specially make the spindles of thread rack to be higher (1.4"), thus the spools will not fall over.
And the distance between two spindle is longer (1.7") to accommodate wider spool base.
This thread rack is perfectly suitable for all the New brothread’s 500m and 1000m spool threads and other thread sellers on Amazon, only when the max base size of the spool is larger than 1.70 inch, such as 1000m spools of Floriani, Isacord, Robison-Anton, you need put 2-3 spools upside down each row on the rack.
NOT suitable for large spools!!!
