Got these cause the theory is that insects have a harder time seeing warm led light over incandescent. Apparently its true because there are much fewer bugs. Also, these are just as bright and use 2W as opposed to 11W. Its a win win. They look cooler too!

Nice warm white bulbs. I don’t know about longevity yet as I haven’t had them very long.

I purchased 3 packs of these lightbulbs (90 bulbs total) in April 2021. They have been up in my backyard for about 5 months now and I could not be more pleased with them. They look stylish and perform flawlessly. Ive got about 80 of these bulbs hanging on strings with a few spares just in case... I installed a dimmer and they dim perfectly. I have not seen any flickering or other issues even when dimming well below 50%. Initially, I was concerned about how the clear plastic glass would hold up in the hot summer temperatures, but with record (107°F) heat this year, there have been no issues. So far the spares have not been needed since there have been no failures despite being on for 3-4 hours almost every night. Im super pleased with these and feel like the value (performance per unit cost) is outstanding. Now to find some colored ones to use during the holidays...

I bought these over a year ago, and theyre used outside in Massachusetts all year. Out of a pack of 25, 8 have taken on water and failed. Not as weatherproof as claimed unless youre in a place with no precipitation.

My husband bought 4 packs of the 18 bulb last Christmas. As of today 18 bulbs do not work. He took the bulbs out of the socket and cleaned them and reinstalled them however they still do not work. Really disappointed now and am hoping that the other bulbs do not fail as I like how they lite up my backyard better than the original bulbs did.

These bulbs have lasted very well. They seem to be brighter than the regular bulbs that came with my lights. Very pleased.

Great replacement for standard bulbs that come on most strings.

The product looks very sturdy, the lights are dimmable at three levels and work great, and the remote control is simple and works well from 50 feet away. Very pleased with the product. Only time will tell if the LED light bulbs last as long as advertised. Only negative, we were to receive 16 LED dimmable bulbs. We received 14 and 2 incandescent light bulbs, one of which had a broken filament. I emailed Newhouse and they sent me within four days 6 additional LED lights. People make mistakes but when corrected and followed through to completion speaks well of their customer service.
