Greater than one weekThough I have not had it long, I really like this umbrella. The light touch button above the handle makes it is easy to open even if you are juggling multiple items. Held up to rather windy days weve had here recently. Seems to be sturdy construction. The curvature of the umbrella when completely open provides good protection from the rain.

> 3 day5 stars for the design: one piece 230T fabric (most competitions are 180T - 210T with multiple stitched fabrics) for better water proofing. Double ribs all the way and split at the end to provide much even strength and even support throughout the entire fabric surface. It will withstand much stronger wind no doubt. Never see another umbrella like that. Kudos to the engineering! So why 1 star off? Well, the packaging provides no protection. It arrived bent just above the handle so it won’t open (looked like the carrier dropped something heavy on it). I did get a replacement quickly. But it is not the reason for 1 star off. I liked almost everything about this umbrella, except the new one is so hard to retract to the locking position with both hands. Not sure if it is defective or by design. I have never had one umbrella requires that much effort to close. Not necessarily. I don’t want to bother with trying another replacement to find out if it is just a defective or by design.

> 3 dayUnlike most umbrellas, when you hit the button it gently opens into a large coverage umbrella. The handle is comfortable, and it comes with a handy slide-on cover that has a sling handle to store it. The segments have some long sections and some smaller scalloped pieces on the outer edge, giving it a unique look. The mechanism works very smoothly when opening and closing it.

> 3 dayCoincidentally this umbrella arrived on a rainy and windy day, used it anyway because of the strength it touted -it didn’t disappoint. You can tell it is made better than anything you can buy at a local department store. It’s sturdier than my $50 golf umbrella made to handle a breeze.

Greater than one weekI recently purchased three of these umbrellas for our church receptionists who often park cars for our singles, widows, and mothers with small children. I was looking for a sturdy umbrella that could withstand strong gusts of wind and take a beating from those who don’t own them. After researching many different umbrellas online, I decided to purchase these because they seemed to be more sturdy than others I looked at. When I received the umbrellas, I was impressed with their strength and durability. Each arm that branches out to hold up the umbrella is actually two arms tied together, which divide at the very ends, doubling the strength to withstand wind. All the way around the perimeter of the material is a grey quarter-inch hem that is tied to the end of each arm, giving it more strength and elegance. The handle is comfortable to hold and the umbrella is easy to open and close with the button mechanism. Each umbrella came with its own nylon sheath and shoulder strap which was then packaged with its own clear plastic sheath. Everything came out of the box in good working condition (I checked each one).

> 3 dayThis umbrella is beautiful it is large in size and looks and feels very solid built the only thing I dont like about it is when its closed it doesnt fall in half like some of them do to make it small make it easier to fit in the handbag or a little duffle bag

> 3 dayThis is an ideal very sturdy water proof umbrella for heavy rain, windy, rough weather. It is very heavy duty and bulky when folded but it covers a lot of area and is great for blocking wind-blown rain. The hook handle is great for hanging over an arm when the umbrella is folded. The unusual split ribs makes the umbrella very stable and wind-resistant. The color is also very attractive. It can be wiped dry rapidly with a cloth if desired.

> 3 dayThis is a nice dandy umbrella. Its built well and covers well. Its very sturdy and I like the unisex design (not too masculine and not too feminine). I drive a large pickup and dont really need a compact umbrella. If space is an issue though, this one might be too large.

> 3 dayI specifically got this umbrella for the color pictured, it matches my company, so I was going to use it when I do fundraisers and outings, but it came and the color is a VERY dark Navy Blue. Im not sure if thats what they are calling the Tibet Blue as in the description, but its not even close to the picture. The umbrella itself isnt anything special. Its not anymore light weight or well designed than any other golf umbrella I have. It is easy to hold and keeps the rain off, like a standard umbrella. Overall, the color disappointment made this one relatively useless to me, as that was my major reason for selecting this.....
