    This is my favorite by far. 4K, easy connect on Macs. Thin and the magnetic case doubles as a stand. Very pleased. I also purchased the 13.3 inch.

    I decided to buy a new desktop with an intel 630 uhd graphics card and when it came it was instant plug and play and is the clearest, highest resolution monitor I have ever had. I had an old slow laptop whose graphics card supported it. If you buy any 4k uhd monitor be sure you have a modern graphics 4k or uhd graphics card in it or it wont play. I am using the hdmi and find it superb for the post processing of full frame digital images my three top end cameras take which nowadays are way better resolution than laptop normal screens unless your laptop if a $1500-2500 with everything in it model. At first I was frustrated and I did waste buying an hp mass market laptop which is now mothballed but this monitor is good with the right graphics card. sound is adequate but not great. I have a separage 15long stereo speaker coming tomorrow.

Does this portable monitor require any additional software or drivers?

No, just plug your device into the monitor using the USB Type-C or HDMI cable, and plug the monitor into the power if needed. After that, you"re good to go!
