If youre on a budget and looking for an affordable home projector that doesnt skimp on quality, the NexiGo PJ20 is definitely worth considering. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of some high-end projectors on the market, it offers solid performance at a reasonable price point. Obviously, there are nicer projectors, with better functionality, higher brightness, and higher resolution, but if you want to have a nice movie night with your loved ones without spending $1000 on a projector then this is a good purchase. I shopped around a lot for something cheaper, and I worked my way from $60 to $300 projectors; and returned most of them. Stay away from the super cheap ones, there is zero customer service, and they won’t last; you’ll end up buying three of them in a year. Better to take that money and get something a better that will provide a better viewing experience, and last longer. I also think spending over $300 isn’t worth it because I don’t feel like the quality goes up much before you get to the $600’s. Plus these projectors often have coupons that can be added to them on the product page. One of the standout features of the PJ20, and NexiGo for that matter, is that they list the brightness in ANSI Lumens, which ensures that its brightness specifications are accurate and reliable. Don’t fall for those 2000L or 3000Lum units. If it doesn’t explicitly state the brightness in ANSI Lumens, do not buy it. They are hiding something. The PJ20 has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a brightness of 450 ANSI lumens, this is more than enough for consumer level buyers. While 4K is nice, but not necessary, I do think you should never go lower than 1080 displays. The built-in speaker is a nice touch, but its not going to blow you away with its sound quality. I tested it just to test it, but I knew I would be using my surround sound system for the audio. You can also attach a speaker to it via Bluetooth or cable. Its worth noting that some apps, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, do not support screen mirroring due to copyright protections. This is an issue with most projectors, just get chrome cast and you’ll be able to screen from your phone. Overall, the NexiGo PJ20 is a solid choice for anyone looking for an affordable home projector that offers decent performance. While you won’t find this playing a movie in your local AMC, its a good deal for the money and is sure to satisfy most casual movie-watchers, and families. Also comes with a standard full 1-year warranty that will get extended by an additional year if you register your product with their website. For entry level projectors, this is definitely one of the better ones.

While this projector did have a good image quality and brightness for its price point, the out of focus top and bottom 15-20% made it a return for me. It also didnt have a zoom function for the image size, which isnt unexpected at this price point, but is preferred for me because I use it as a traveling projector and that means Id like to have additional adjustments for flexibility in setup/positioning. There are better out there, at this price point. Specifically, take a look at the Va*kyo V63*, its very similar but with better focus and adjustments. See the attached photo for the bluriness at top and bottom.

Setup was very easy. It connected to wifi, Bluetooth and screen mirroring worked like a charm. It is bigger than I thought it would but it is very light weight which is nice. The built in speaker is better than I thought and the volume can get nice and loud. Some cons, the fan is pretty noisy when its on. It definitely works best in a dark room and colors werent as bright as I would have wanted. It would also be nice to be able to adjust setting with something playing but that doesnt seem possible. Overall for the price, I think its a pretty good projector. Fun for outdoor movie nights.

Im not an expert with gadgets, so was a little intimidated with this projector. I didnt need to be! Set up was straightforward and simple. The manual was pretty easy to understand. The onscreen setup was very useful. The picture quality was better than expected. I set it on an ottoman and projected it onto a textured wall, so the angle and focus dont look perfect in the pictures, but I was up and running casting my phone through the projector in a matter of minutes. I have a lot of features to try still, but I can already tell this is a keeper! There are plenty of input options, so let the fun begin! I can imagine casting my travel photos at a BBQ on a sheet outside....family videos onto a screen at a family reunion...music videos at poolside get-togethers....PowerPoint presentations at business meetings - so much easier now, with less equipment! 5 stars!

Im always skeptical of projectors, as this is the 3rd one ive ordered. This has been by far the best! Great built in sound, great picture quality. Nothing to complain about! I love using this on the back of my house for a little date night with the wife and dogs. Recommend to anyone!

The operating system feels outdated. The projector blows out lots of heat, not ideal for sitting next to my bed. Dont buy this unless you can line your projector up perfectly square. While it does have vertical keystoning, it completely ruins the focus. You have to have no (or minimal) keystone, and have it be perfectly parallel with the projected surface to keep it focused everywhere at once. The remote makes it easy to adjust focus on the fly. Bluetooth to my speaker worked well - good thing, becaude the audio jack seemed completely loose and didnt work at all. Picture is pretty small at a distance of 5-8 feet, so make sure you have a very large throw distance available. Brightness was acceptable, watchable in low light environments. Not so much in daylight. Would not recommend using it outdoors, its not that bright.

Ive always DREAMT of being able to watch movies from bed... without getting another actual TV (I try to avoid screens in the room). So this is so cool to be able to finally do that (despite a slightly skewed angle, since I dont have a longer extension cord / platform to put the projector in the middle of our headboard - so its on our bedside table instead). The biggest pros are: - It works (as you can see in the photo)! - The picture quality is quite good - It comes with a remote so you can configure settings without having to manually do it on the projector itself A few notes (not dealbreakers for me personally), but wanted to share just as a heads up: - I will say it took longer than expected for me to figure out how to install it... The UI/UX screen design when I was trying to figure out the settings looks a bit outdated, too. - I could not connect via Bluetooth or HDMI with my Google Pixel (even after downloading a few Miracast / screen-mirroring apps), so ended up connecting via HDMI with my Macbook Pro. I also thought it was odd that the Bluetooth functionality is only limited to audio (not video). - The air filter is quite loud... even within minutes of using it (and nothing obstructing the filter). But overall... the projector works great, and I am happy with this product.
