Great cheap stand for a series S. Excellent for supporting your series S. Throw the fan out and just keep the legs to provide better air flow and more stability.

I was having overheating issues and thought I could get around replacing the internal fan. While this fan doesn’t blow enough air in to keep the unit cool enough to prevent that while playing an actual game, it did help enough to get by just watching YouTube or other streaming apps. It held me over long enough to order the internal fan and replace it, which is surprisingly easy to do and only cost about $15. Now it’ll be nice to have to keep the stress of the internal fan down and have it not work so hard to keep everything cool.

I assume its working fine, however sometimes the fans start up with a weird loud buzzing sound

Works great and super easy to install. I wish the speed button was on the front though. You have to choose between seeing what setting its on or being able to reach the button easily.

The fans are weak, even in the strongest setting they would not turn a candle off! i’m serious.
