Installation was a pain, but I managed to get them installed. I had these fog lights wired up to my headlight (low-beam) on a 2009 Silverado 1500. They been pretty bright, but recently both of them went out. Maybe water got in I’m not sure they cheap for the price but like I said will not last long. Wouldn’t hurt to spend couple $$ more just for some fog lights that would last a while.

These are very bright. I am using them as fog lights. Any brighter would be problematic and potentially hazardous to other drivers. Be sure to see how many lumens a potential light you are purchasing may have. Installation was easy as I already had factory wiring to work with. These are not the type of lights that shoot out a beam instead they are very wide and the light is relatively evenly distributed.

The light output is just meh and Im moving them to simply be backup lights. The output is unimpressive and the floor has a very short range. Maybe 15 in front of the vehicle. These would be best used as scene lights around your vehicle or as additional backup lights.

I agree with the comments saying they are very low current which is why I purchased these. I used the Nilight 16 awg wiring harness sold separately but very inexpensive. There are not many floodlights available and the look of these is much better than a small cube light (opinion). I purchased the pair for the front which at night I am very pleased with the light output. It is nothing spectacular but plenty of light, like I said prior I liked the low current. I have purchased two more pairs for each side of the vehicle and need one more pair for the rear for launching the boat at night. I will update the picture when the basket is complete.

Extremely disappointed. These lights are very bright to the eye however they do not throw the light out.

Ordered 5 two-light fog kit. One arrived DOA. Kit was delivered in 4 days. I issued a replacement request, ETA for replacement kit is 10 days! No fault of mine and I feel penalized... Underwhelming customer service by Amazon or seller. The one light in the kit that worked is installed. Brightness OK, but doesnt have the down the road brightness Ive seen with other spots. But Ill withhold judgement until replacement arrives, is installed and both lights are working. Update 12/14/18: Replacement set arrived early, a week before it was originally scheduled. Kudos to Amazon or distributor for getting that done. Pre-tested one of the replacement lights, confirmed it worked and installed. Lights are pretty bright, but I still cannot tell an appreciable downroad difference between them, supposedly spot lights, and the flood lights I had before. Happy but not thrilled, bumped rating up from 3 to 4 stars for customer service.
