Very easy to install, drilled a 3/8 hole into my aftermarket bumper and bolted in. I installed the Nilight flood lights. Widens the field of view over spot lights, ditch to ditch on country roads. Very bright with maybe a touch of blue tint. As bright as my Rigid spots at a fraction of the cost. Satisfied.

These so far are simply AMAZING, IF you ground them properly they are EXTREMELY bright, the issues I have seen in the reviews to me indicate that is the issue, I initially did NOT properly ground them and they were just So-So, Once I did a proper wiring job I flipped them on and thought I had crossed over to the other side! DONT GO INTO THE LIGHT! These where mounted on the back side of my tractor so I could see in the miserable snow to plow and were absolutely a life saver! Getting more for the front this year and probably a few for my rigs. Solid construction seem to be water tight - I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY...

I bought these to mount on the headache rack of my truck for work/cargo lights. I also purchased some Nilight Tube Mounting brackets, which worked great for this install. The combination of the 2 made the installation very easy. Once I wired them & turned them on, I was amazed at how bright these were. The flood light pattern had the perfect spread. These really light up the area behind my truck or whatever direction I have them aimed. The price was awesome for the quality & brightness of these lights. I used the recommendations of other reviews & tightened all the screws. So far, so good. I would definitely buy these again or recommend them highly.

I agree with the comments saying they are very low current which is why I purchased these. I used the Nilight 16 awg wiring harness sold separately but very inexpensive. There are not many floodlights available and the look of these is much better than a small cube light (opinion). I purchased the pair for the front which at night I am very pleased with the light output. It is nothing spectacular but plenty of light, like I said prior I liked the low current. I have purchased two more pairs for each side of the vehicle and need one more pair for the rear for launching the boat at night. I will update the picture when the basket is complete.

I would still buy Nighlight pods for sure. They get the job done and don’t break the bank. However the 3inch would’ve been a lot better in my opinion, these lights are pretty big and too awkward for ditch lights. The light spreads a little wider than a 3in pod, but definitely not any brighter. And for any one new looking for pods, more money DOES equals better quality.
