Dont get me wrong, the product is actually wonderful. The main issue is I am an adult who plays for extended periods of time. It is ideal for a child with limited play time, as it causes the system to heat up faster. By limited I mean 1 to 2 hours max at a time. I also wasnt thrilled with how close the case comes to the A button, but again, adult. My hands rest differently on the console than a childs would. I would definitely recommend to a parent, just not if the machine will be used for extended periods of time. No one wants to break their console from overheating. I mainly bought it for the extra protection since I am super clumsy. I drop everything. So my issues are of a more personal nature than anything else.

Sturdy case but hard to put on and to remove.

This case is pretty nice, however it is very thick. If you like either extra protection or for your switch lite to feel more hefty then this is a good option! I did like it at first, but after awhile it no longer suited my own personal preferences for feel. Additionally, it is too thick to attach a bluetooth adapter if that is something you are interested in purchasing in the future. If you are just looking for a protective case that shows off the original color of your switch lite then I would recommend this case!

Bought this for my grandson as a gift. He, first of all, was so glad I had chosen a clear protector so the design on the Switch Lite still shows through. It fit perfectly and will prevent scratches and damage to his Switch Lite.

It’s quite a bit more expensive than other no-brand ones. And I kept going back and forth if it’s worth it. But I’ve had HORI products before, some bought in Japan, and yeah… you can definitely feel the quality. In fact, I have some acryl joycon cases for 6 years now and they’ve been fine all these years. Even though this one is more expensive, it’s super clear, no sharp edges, fits perfectly, all the ports areas are perfectly cut. If you want something high quality, durable, that will last you years and keep your console like new, this is one of the best.
