This is the first time I actually tried a Switch Pro Controller. They looked nice enough, but I had owned two Xbox elite controllers in the past and didnt think the Pro Controller would be in the same league. I was happily surprised! The controller actually feels wonderful! The handles feel good and comfortable in the hands, and the texture gives me plenty of grips. I also dont have to worry about any rubber grips peeling off, like both of my elite controllers, since the grips on the pro controller are just textured plastic. It also comes with its own rechargeable battery, unlike the elite controllers, which you have to pay additional funds for if you want a rechargeable battery. The only downside I can think of so far is that it only has digital triggers. The triggers do feel very nice, dont get me wrong, and they work perfectly for most games. They just wouldnt be as good for some racing games. Its true. the pro controller isnt cheap. Its $70 for the standard black one, but for me personally, aside from a couple of things, I prefer it over my Xbox Elite controllers, which were way more expensive. I think I will even start using the controller on PC as well (at least on games where I dont prefer a mouse and keyboard). I am quite happy with it, and I recommend others who havent tried it yet give it a go.

Better than an xbox controller. I would say it is even as good as the Wiiu controller or xbox elite WRT the thumbsticks. So smooth! So precise! I love the colors and graphics, but now that I have this controller I wish I hadnt waited to get the Splatoon version and just bought a regular Pro controller back in July. Its thaaat good... accuracy is much improved. Or maybe, the controllers included with the switch are that bad, a real let-down coming from the Wiiu. But this makes up for it!

One of the best controllers you can buy for the Switch. So far Ive found it has about a week and a half of battery life with playing 3-4 hours a day. The Splatoon colors add a great touch over the all black versions and has a fantastic solid build quality. Might be a little to large or heavy for smaller hands. It can be connected to Windows 10 using Bluetooth but it appears to only have a limit of one device in its memory. So you have to repair it with the Switch after connecting to another device.

Feels much better to play with than the Joy-Cons, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. Id recommend a pro controller to any Switch owner, and this switch controller to any one who likes Splatoon, pink, or green.

Great controller, It shows up pink and green on the switch when you go to change grip order as well.
