Greater than one weekHad a hard time finding an aesthetically pleasing hedgehog sized wheel until this one. I really didn’t want to spend the money on it, but I’m glad I did because it’s got some awesome features. You can move the wheel up and down and it’s super easy to clean. My hedgehog, Dave, likes to poop and run at the same time and smashes his poop in it like a complete psycho so I just spray it with pet safe cleaner, let it sit, then spray it with hot water. Then I wake up the next morning and he’s done it again lmao. The only thing I dislike is it’s not completely silent but that’s fine because his cage isn’t in my room and there is a cork board bottom. I can’t remember if it came with it and I put it on or if it was on it already when I got it, but if I put it on, definitely don’t because it’ll get soaked in rodent pee and absorb it like a sponge. Lol

> 3 dayI got the medium wheel, it takes up about 1/5 of my 20gal long tank, not a bad thing but as someone who eyeballs things, i wish i had gotten a smaller one. Im keeping it because i plan on upsizing my mouse area anyway, and ill eventually buy a smaller one for the 20gal. Just thought it would be helpful!

Greater than one weekI got this small 8-inch wheel for use in the play area for my dwarf hamsters because they cannot move the 13-inch Katee wheel my Syrians use in the play area. I have 10-inch and 11-inch wheels in my dwarf hamsters cages which are also Niteangel. Get the biggest wheel your hamster can run in easily. I recommend 10-inch for most dwarf hamsters which lowers the risk of them spinning upside down which happens frequently with small wheels.

> 3 dayI love this wheel! Not only does it look great, but it is very high quality. The running drum itself is very large, and will not bend the hamsters back (I ordered size small for a Russian Dwarf Hamster.) It is also very wide, which will allow my hamster to run more comfortably. I love that the height is adjustable, so that you can put the base on the bottom of the cage, raise it up, and put plenty of substrates under the wheel, if you so choose. My experience so far, it is completely silent, no noise at all! I just upgraded from my Kaytee Silent Spinner, and could not be more satisfied with my purchase! It also came with an adhesive cork board to prevent sliding. Not sure Ill need it, but a nice addition in case I do!

> 3 dayThis is sturdy and stable and whisper-quiet. Our hamster loves it and even though the price point seemed high at first, I would purchase it again. It’s easy to clean too.

> 3 dayWe got the medium sized 10 inch wheel, and I understand now why all the pictures on Amazon are sort of landscape shots, and not showing the wheel inside an actual hamster or gerbil cage. There is no way it would fit. We have a large cage that is easily big enough for 2 gerbils, and this thing would totally fill it up if we were to keep it. Im afraid I have to return it for something smaller that can clip onto the side of the cage somehow. Seems incredibly high quality though, for anyone who has an open room or enormous enclosure for their small pet rodent.

> 3 dayThe sizes are actually proper for these animals. I find other brands run way too small. They also look very nice and are silent. Love the big base on them, very sturdy and dont wobble at all. I recommend this to every hamster owner. Just because they are called a small animal doesnt mean they require less or should have small supplies. They are small animals with big needs!
