> 3 dayThe install of this mod is incredibly simple. Exactly what I needed. Make sure you check if this will fit your case prior to purchasing. Most of cases couldn’t fit it. It adds just enough length to air cooler to make it a problem for many.

> 3 dayThe mounting mechanism is quite solid and it was easy to install. My white pc build now looks very cool, but its a tad bit expensive for just purely cosmetics, and no cooling performance increases... Worth it because it looks cool. :D

> 3 dayI could do with out the text on the plate. I would have preferred pure white. They are flimsy plates that are no where near the price tag. Some sheet metal with powder coating. They do however make my rig look better. The monstrosity that is the Noctua NH-D15 is ugly as hell. These help, but they also cut down air flow.

Greater than one weekI dont understand why these cost so much for painted metal but they do add some much needed style to plain Noctua. And why doesnt the white get the cutouts for inserts like the black covers? Originally purchased these to go with a stormtrooper look along with the black Chromax fans. Problem is the radiators on the NH-D15 stick so far out its white to catch any lights unless you have an LED strip up top or on the sides. Noticed the lack of RGB reflection off these with my Coolermaster 140mm ARGB exhaust fan. Ended up putting an RGB strip up top and now its reflecting across the whole case. The white Noctua uses is more like a very bright latex paint finish that might stand out against the other whites on your case and components if that bothers you. Still if you want those white towers to catch RGB strip lighting or a black/white theme for your NH-D15 these are pretty much a necessity. Other than that I wouldnt bother wasting your money and if you want your Nh-D15 to looks better just buy the black fans

> 3 dayI knew it going into it that itd be overpriced since it has no functional value and is purely for aesthetics, but still. $30 is insane for 2 pieces of metal and plastic meant to make your PC look more pretty. I can get a case fan or cheap CPU Cooler, both of which have functional value, for that price. Overall tho, if youre doing a white or white/black build with an NH-D15 or D15S, its worth it if you dont mind spending extra for the looks.

Please Note:
These covers will increase the height of the heatsink by 5mm (from 160 to 165mm) and the width by 3mm (from 150mm to 153mm). Please make sure that your case offers sufficient clearance and that the covers don’t make contact with any other components such as PCIe cards!
