This fan is perfect for small form factor builds that regular 120mm fans are to thick. I have two of them on my 240mm radiator being controlled by a fan controller and temps are always around 39c - 50c. While they can get quite loud when they ramp up to full speed its not enough annoy me. Would recommend.

Warning: The fan cable for chromax version is only a 1” long dongle. The 4-pin PWM “extension” cable included serves AS the entirety of the fan power cable. The “swappable” colored rubber pads are adhesive one-time-use, so not really swappable like on other chromax fans.. Doesn’t include 4-Pin PWM splitter y-cable, low noise adapter (LNA), anti-vibration rubber mounts, or an actual PWM extension cable that the brown version includes AND is more expensive than the brown version. The chromax version is NOT just a black version of the beige/brown fan, it Is physically different and does not include the same accessories. You are probably better off saving your money and getting the standard brown version. However the fan itself is typical high quality Noctua, but for the price the standard Noctua accessories should be included. I took two stars off for that, and for switching to a tiny 1” PWM power cable.

What more can i say? Its a reliable Noctua fan thats slimmer than the typical 25mm case fan. Fit two of these guys at the bottom of my CoolerMaster NR200P build with my graphic card mounted horizontally and it has room to spare where two full sized 25mm fan would have been a really tight fit. Couldnt ask for more.

Since there are no tape sealing, mine was a used product based on how the bumpers installed and opening damage to the outer and inner boxes. However amazon exchanged it smooth for me. Hope the replacement is a new one. Just check out if it is used.

Seems to be a nice quiet slim case fan, I needed one in my Silverstone GD08 HTPC to clear the video card because of the length of my MSI Radion 5600 XT sticks out over the bottom front mounted fans. My only reason for deducting one star from the value is that the fan didnt quite clear the case on the back side and required some small rubber shims to keep the fan blades from rubbing on the case. Could just be a flaw in the metalwork of my case, but its something you might need to do too.

Noctua always has quality products. You can see from the picture above that it is definitely a brand I stand behind and I have had to unfortunately replace some lesser quality parts in this build for much higher quality, albeit admittedly more expensive, noctua ones.

Noctua stuff is always a little pricey but I’ve never had any problems with any of their products. I put these in at the bottom of a ncase m1 to help cool the evga 3070 xc3 (2.2 slot card) and it dropped the temps by 5c-10c. Run super quiet. cooler GPU helps the CPU temps a bit too. (10700 set to 125w max sustained, cooled by noctua nhu9s)
