Greater than one weekThis little fan was a life saver. My Hikvision NVR was so loud. I bought this and installed in minutes. I can hear myself think now. I would never of thought this would make a difference. I did a google search why it was so loud and there was someone that had recommended getting this fan.

> 3 dayI ordered two, one for a POI switch and one as a spare. The fan was nicely packaged and included a complete Installation kit including adapters for different connectors. The problem is that after a short time it stopped and would only run if given starting assistance. The second fan behaves the same - very disappointing!

Greater than one weekSolidly built and quiet. I needed some extra air movement in my RV battery box, charging the batterries would set off my propane alarm (?). This was the perfect size to screw into my venting, attach an on/off switch. Very quiet, pushes enough air that the alarm never goes off any more, and has withstood miles of gravel logging roads and highways.

Greater than one weekI bought this to cool my MiSTer FPGA. The fan that originally came with my analog I/O board was a generic black fan that probably would have been fine.

Greater than one weekDie Lüfter der Firma Noctua sind für mich state of the art. Technisch gesehen gibt es ganz wenig Hersteller, die diesem Produkt das Wasser reichen können. Als Freund der Firma mit dem angebissenen Apfel frage ich mich jedoch, wieviel Energie in die Verpackung gesteckt wird. Da könnte Steve (Gott hab ihn seelig) fast neidisch werden. Okay, 15€ für einen 40x40/10 Lüfter, der wirklich gut funktioniert, ist ein angemessener Preis. Aber hat es Noctua wirklich nötig, solch eine übertriebene Verpackung mitzuliefern? Wir alle (die meisten) wissen, das deren Ventilatoren unter den Top 3 sind. Wie auch immer, ein iPhone oder einen Noctua zu unboxen ist eine Freude. Der bittere Nachgeschmack auf die Verpackung bleibt aber immer.

Originally I was going to use it as a part cooling fan, but when I got an E3D v6 I decided to use it to cool the extruder instead. Reduced motor hub size
