Greater than one weekI replaced a power supply fan with this units bigger brother, I installed this one today as a replacement for the hot-end fan in my 3D Printer. Yes, these fans make a huge difference in the sound level that was produced by those stock fans. In fact my 3D printer is no more than 2 feet behind me right now, and it is printing. However, the only noise Im hearing is the fan from my notebook!! Guess Ill have to replace it next.

Greater than one weekVery comprehensive selection of leads including (if all else fails) connections allowing you to re-use the existing connection if the supplied ones dont fit your purpose. In my opinion the product is over-packaged and a case of lets give it a smart package so as to help justify the premium price. The end result is lots of cardboard and plastic heading for the recycling bin. I have used Noctua fans before and I am sure that they are built with good quality components and certainly in PCs I have built they have performed well and silently. However I was using this 40mm fan to replace what I thought was a noisy fan in a Dahua NVR box. It was easy to switch over (I ended up cutting the supplied connection in half so as to not have to fiddle around with splicing the old connection on the new fan lead). The end result is just as noisy as the original ! Probably because there is no speed control in the NVR and the little fan just runs constantly at full speed. A small fan, running at full speed within a small enclosure is, (I now know) always going to be noisy however well made it is.

> 3 dayDer originale Lüfter im Ex2 Ultra ist in einer Gummierung zur Schallreduktion, dafür nur 8mm im Durchmesser. Alten Lüfter und die Gummierung ausgebaut und durch diesen Lüfter ersetzt.
