> 3 dayI used this fan to replace the stock fan in my Icom IC-7300, which was quite loud during transmit. The Noctura fan is essentially silent. I cant hear it at all. If youre looking for a quiet fan, look no more, this is the one.

> 3 dayI have an older AMD Phenom II, running Linux. The fan finally died. It all still works, part of my home lab. Noctua 80mm fan was almost a perfect fit. Had to drill out the aluminum just a bit. Super quiet.

> 3 dayGreat and very quiet fans. I bought tow of these fans to replace older fans. While certainly more expensive I am glad I purchased these fans. They have been very quiet and came with everything I needed to install it in the way of cabling and screws for a variety of situations. Will buy this brand again!

> 3 dayGreat fan. Perfect for my custom build. I used it in a tight spot to feed outside air to the 3 stock fans of my 1080ti. The card has never exceeded 58 degrees C. and my hot m.2 ssd sits right under the intake of the third fan. Very very happy I am.

Greater than one weekI do a lot of audio and video recording in my office and have noticed a computer hum in some recordings. After doing some research I found out about these fans which as supposed to reduce noise. I pulled my computer apart to find out what I needed and ordered the replacement fans. They came in two days and I installed them. They looked good and fit perfectly, but I have been disappointed with the results. The noise isnt any better than it was with the original factory fans. I went through all that work for no change. So Im going to have to pursue a different and more drastic sound dampening approach. I wouldnt waste your time with these so called silent fans!

> 3 dayI got this to replace the loud slightly whiney foxconn cpu cooler in my HP Pavillion Ryzen 3600 gaming computer and it did lower the volume, and it even slightly lowered my CPU idle temps, but my cpu temps under heavy load from video rendering went from 64.5 to 74c. ( i found disabling the turbo boost brought the cpu temps under heavy load down to 55c). Too bad my case wont let me install an 80mm to 92mm fan adapter so I could install a quiet but powerful Noctua 92mm PWM case fan as my cpu fan. :( But for case fans you cant beat this fan if you value a silent computer.

> 3 dayThese are one of the ugliest consumer products that people just LOVE. So when I had to replace some completely hidden fans deep inside my parents prebuilt, I got one of these. The construction on these is just amazing. I mean, Im blown away. Its like fan art. And things run the risk of looking gimmicky, but then you read the reviews and it seems that the construction detail actually does convert to performance. So, I get it now. Ill never place one where it can be seen. But Ill try to hide as many as I can.
