> 3 dayBoth the fan manufacturer and a review at Vortez.com claim that this fan does not make the ticking sound. Guess what they are wrong!!! It does make an audible ticking noise. I can hear it from 2 feet. It may not be a big deal if you have a loud gaming rig. But I wanted it for a silent PC for my office use. The PC will be sitting right next to my desk. So the audible ticking noise was very distracting. I would rather have a white noise than an intermittent ticking noise. So I returned it.
