Noctua NF-F12 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown)

Bought this fan after a PC tech reviewer on youtube called it the quietest fan he ever bought. Once I got it, I was a bit disappointed. As it is, its not that quiet. It is better if you use the silent adapter, however I bought fans of other brands that were quieter without the adapters. Also, I find it to be quite an eyesore, which I wouldnt have cared about if it was actually very quiet. Installation was pretty agitating. If you are using the screws, the wholes are too small so you are creating the threads as you are inserting the screw. If you use the rubber pins the fan is then a bit loose against the case, that does not effect performance however. The connector wire is very short, but it does come with an extension. So, this fan is just ok, my expectations might have been too high, but as it is I would not buy another one of these.

I replaced the stock fans on my Cooler Master HAF XB with these and I am very pleased. This is the second time I have purchased a Noctua fan and I am now a loyal customer. I purchased from Cool Tech PC. Got the product ahead of time and it was exactly what I ordered and packaged nicely.

I but four to replace my corsair fans. The problem is they are so quiet I keep checking my computer to see if they’re still running. It’s gonna take a little bit for me to get used to that they are great. One week later I’m not checking so much. Highly recommend.

Noctura uses some of the best technology to keep your pc cool while generating some of the lowest fan noise in the industry. The blades create very little noise and the bearings are nearly silent. If you are in the market for a 120 mm design fan you should check these out. My standard for new pc builds or current fan replacements.

Great fans, extremely quiet and great performance.

For their purpose, theyre the best on the market-no question. They are silent and create very good static pressure for moving air in restricted environments. For radiators theres just no better solution. They have excellent ISO rubber mounts and come with a full set of pwm extension and ULN (ultra low noise) adapters and a PWM splitter. All the cables are sleeved black. You can literally FEEL the quality just holding them in your hands. Theyre heavy, durable, and very easy to clean thanks to the type of materials they use.

Replaced the stock fan from my Hyper 212 EVO with this, which is much quieter. Apparently CM fans are known to often have coil whine so this was a major step up, and I believe it moves more air for that matter as well.
