> 3 dayThis was my first Noctua fan, and I can finally see why many folks are so quick to suggest Noctua for their building needs. I used this fan to replace the radiator stock fan for my Corsair H55, and I noticed a significant decrease in CPU temperature, as well as much lower noise. The only knock on this product is the horribly ugly color scheme, but if youre planning on placing this in a closed case without windows (like I did), it shouldnt be a problem.

> 3 dayI have 5 of these in my system and its silent. I use 1 for intake and 2 for outtake and two on my Hyper 212 and my PC runs cool and quiet. These replaced Corsair and Asus fans I had in my Corsair R300 case.

> 3 dayI ordered this along with a NF-A15 PWM to replace the stock non-PWM fans on my NH-D14 CPU cooler. After installing these fans, I noticed a clicking noise common with PWM fans. After reading reviews and descriptions from Noctuas website, I was led to believe that Noctua had eliminated the dreaded clicking associated with PWM fans. I was ready to send these back and go back to the stock fans when I decided to make sure these were the culprits. After process of elimination, I determined it actually wasnt these fans, but one of the stock fans on my case! I hadnt noticed it before due to the stock NH-D14 fans being a little louder, but these are so quiet it allowed me to hear the subtle clicking from the stock Corsair AF140L on my case!

Greater than one weekI keep it at 90%, its the only intake fan I have. Cant hear it at all and it brings in decent fresh air to the case.

> 3 dayI dont know if I got a duff fan, or my hearing is just better than everyone else reviewing this, but mine was no where near quiet.

> 3 dayThese fans are incredibly quiet compared to the Corsair fans when used on my H100c. Before installing these, my computer would drown out any other white noise in the house. I couldnt leave it on because the drone would drive us all crazy. Now, I can barely tell the computer is running. I replaced all of my case fans with NF-S12 fans, and there was a slight difference. The huge drop in sound came when I installed these guys on the radiator of my H100c.

> 3 dayI bought this for my back up PC with air cooled heatsink and I must say this thing is so quiet I have to visually make sure the fan blades are spinning. And my CPU fan setting is set to Turbo. Just for giggles, I overclocked my Phenom II x6 1090T to 3.7Ghz and ran prime 95 and cpu temp levels off at 52C. And the fan turning at 100%, I can only hear a slight hum. And Im using average run-of-the-mill cpu heatsink.(Coolermaster Hyper 212). I have Kraken X60 in push and pull cooling fx8350 OCed to 4.7Ghz on my main PC and I dont get that kind of Temp. I kinda wish I had just bought Noctua cooler for my main PC instead of going with liquid cooling option. :( I now see why noctua gets all these rave reviews. Im definitely buying noctuas for my radiator.
