> 24 hourUsed all Noctua fans in my previous build and was happy, but tried EK Vardar fans on my new system after reading many positive reviews and claims of improved cooling. While those fans moved plenty of air and cooling was great, they had annoying fan noise. Wasnt excessively loud, just an off pitch hum that was very noticeable and annoying. Swapped them out to Noctua fans, lost maybe a degree or two on the CPU and GPU, but almost zero fan noise now at similar fan speeds.

> 24 hourI have a Cool Master Heatsink that the fan went bad after about 3 years. The fan had always been noisy to begin with and the bearing eventually went off center and started grinding and vibrating loudly while not spinning. Replacing it with a Noctua fan was easy. Its really quiet and I hope it lasts longer than 3 years. I rarely turn off my computer so the fan needs to run 24/7 for a long while. Its been about a month and still no problem.
