> 3 dayIch benutze den Noctua NF-S12A PWM Lüfter als Gehäuselüfter, wofür er auch gedacht ist, hinter meinem CPU Lüfter als Rear-Exhaust. Der Anschluss erfolgte natürlich per 4-Pin Stecker und im BIOS im PWM Modus (wichtig, dies muss ausgewählt werden).

15-06-2025Absolutely silent and has a nice quality feel. The wires are sleeved in black cloth and folds nicely in corners. I dig it very much for cable management!

Greater than one weekIch habe die zwei rasselnden Gehäuselüfter meines neuen Gehäuses durch zwei Noctua NF-S12A PWM ersetzt. Solange sie heruntergeregelt sind, höre ich sie quasi gar nicht. Erst nach längeren rechenintensiven Tasks, wenn die Temperatur im Gehäuse ansteigt, legen sie hörbar los. Seltsamerweise stört mich das Geräusch aber gar nicht so sehr. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass ich hier vor allem die Luft rauschen höre und die Motoren nahezu lautlos arbeiten.

> 3 dayReplaced my noisy fan that came with my case. This one is whisper quiet. Its not quite as easy to install as the packaging implies but that still means it only took me five minutes. If I had needle nose pliers it would have taken two.

> 3 dayso quiet that i had to look see if it was working -- only problem is that i was a but clumsy installing one and pressed on one of the fan blades and broke it - spins but as off centre now need to order another to replace the one that I damaged

Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
