> 3 daySo Ive had this cooler for a few months now and absolutely no complaints, it tames my ryzen 7 5800x no problem. I have the fan in low profile mode with the fan blowing towards the socket. Ive done multiple tests where Ive had the fan blowing away from the socket and I saw that it will run 5-7 degrees hotter. Definitely recommend for a semi low profile build with a reasonably hot CPU. Installing this was a breeze with the secufirm mounting system, not sure about Intel since AMD is clearly Superior but Im sure its just as easy.

> 3 daySolid Cooler for more low profie builds. Cool and quiet low maintenance proposition compared to liquids coolers. As I swtich to this cooler after my H80i losing liquid over time due to evaporation.

> 3 dayIve always recommended Noctua CPU coolers and fans and have personally installed a LOT of them to great success. The last recording studio workstation built I used this same cooler on an i9-9900k in the low profile configuration in a 3U rack case, it gave years of service nice and quiet - honestly almost silent, which is important in a control room. In fact, that system is still running quietly.

> 3 dayFirst off, let me say, this cooler is large. Super large.

> 3 dayPut on an Intel i7 11700KF, 125 tdp. Stressing cpu runs at 60C max using 105-110 watts. Normal usage runs 34C to 43C. Idles at 26C. Happy customer, didnt get anything as low or stable using AIO water coolers. Install was easy enough as long as you follow the instructions. Fan is quiet, havent been able to get it to go over 50% yet. Board temp good to, only 26C. Might not be as pretty or cool as the AIOs but Im more into protecting my electronics.

> 3 dayThis product was the largest CPU cooler that would fit in my case. The dinky 92mm cooler tower that the prebuilt came with would ramp up to 4400rpms to keep the 12700k from cooking itself. The noise was very unpleasant from the recliner 12 feet away. Now that the noise is almost undetectable when the C14s ramps up the fan. Its a pretty cooler also if you mount the fan under the heatsink. 10/10

> 3 dayBought this mainly to boost the overclock of an FX-8320E. I was hoping that the top down design would better cool the surrounding motherboard components. The northbridge is actually running a few degrees hotter. My previous cooler was an old 120 mm Xigmatek tower cooler that cost one third what this one does. It cooled just as well and the Scythe fan on it is quieter than the Noctua 140 mm at load. I sort of feel Ive been taken.
