> 3 dayThis thing is huge! Check your case dimensions. The mounting system is great but the second 140mm fan was too big to mount so it would clear the adjacent ram modules (small heat sinks) and the side of the case. Other than that the install was smooth.

18-11-2024Was running low 50s at idle with an AMD 5950X and Thermaltake 240mm AIO. When playing any kind of game, I was hitting low 80s which is ridiculous. This cooler has dropped me to 46C while gaming, and upper 30s / low 40s when idle. Its absolutely quiet compared to the Thermaltakes constant burbling and gurgling. Is it possible the water cooler had an issue? Certainly. That said, this beast of an air cooler gets the job done and is quiet to boot.

> 3 dayWas running a 5800x with a wraith prism cooler until this arrived. It did the job but with constant fan noise. Much quieter. Just check the motherboard compatibility on the noctua website so you dont buy something that wont work on your motherboard. I consider this a good purchase since it works with AM4 and AM5 sockets. Future use for me or should have value selling used for some time to come also.

> 3 dayOnce installed the cooler is silent and much cooler in every way to the stock wraith prism. I had to remove the second fan due to ram height and my meshify c not being wide enough to support the 150mm fan raised up. It seems to function just as well with one fan (Ive heard the center fan does most of the work.). I put the second fan as intake on the front with another 140mm fan from arctic cooling (its quiet, but the cord was too short to reach the sys_fan on my motherboard, Im using the y cable as extension..)
