Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

Beastmode!! Superior cooling. Easy to install. Looked massive right out of the box but fit nicely in my rig.

This cooler is a BEAST! The packaging is premium, I could tell this was a great value buy as soon as it arrived. Unboxing was a pleasure, the kit is very well made and everything connected flawlessly. I checked the measurements prior to purchase and was not let down - everything fit with a few mm to spare. As for how the cooler functions - I was able to squeeze an additional 300mhz out of my cpu and still keep it under 80c when fully loaded in prime95. Delidding is now my next step to see how much more I can get from this chipset. Once the load dropped, this beast shed over 50c off the temps in under a second! My buddy and I were reduced to tears and laughter at how amazing this cooler setup is. 10/10 will only go with Noctua from here on out. Will update in the future if the status changes but I dont expect this thing to fail.

I7 4790k a bit over locked ran at 80 on 100% load with cheap corsair watercooling. The watercooling failed, delivering its content to the MB drips by drips until I figured my cpu was 9verheating and throttling. I switched back to air but wanted the best. I have not been disappointed! Now idles at 36, maxes around 70. Im flabbergasted by this unit. Every review mentioning how well made, how easy it is to install are true. The level of engeneering in this seems to surpass every other heatsink Ive ever used. And Ive been overclocking computer since before internet was a thing (486dx/2 66 running at 133mhz in 1994)

One of, if not the, best air cooler around. Ive previously used the D14 and this is a worthy follow-up. The Secure-firm mounting system is the best you can find. Even for a more inexperienced builder, the tension springs prevent you from applying too much force to the socket. The kit comes with a high-grade thermal paste and an extended Philips screwdriver to facilitate installation. This out-performs many kit based water cooling loops at a lower price with less risk. I cant recommend it enough!

Der Lüfter und die Qualität sind wie immer absolute Spitzenklasse. Habe diesen Lüfter in einem Zalman I3 verbauen wollen und laut der Internetseite von Noctua ist dies kompatibel mit dem Lüfter sprich Höhe und Breite passen. Dies war leider nicht der Fall da der 2. Lüfter einfach nicht mehr reinpasste. Schade das diese Angabe somit leider fehlerhaft ist und man vorher erst sein Gehäuse peinlichst genau ausmessen muss. Ich musste mir ein anderes Gehäuse zulegen damit der Lüfter in Umfang und voller Funktion zu betreiben ist. Dennoch bin ich mit Kühlleistung und Montage zufrieden.

This performs on par with water coolers with 0% chance of leaking water. This cooler does an excellent job cooling, the heatsink is huge as expected but well worth the sacrifice in my opinion. Until you can get the same cooling performance in a smaller fan heatsink this will likely be my go to cpu cooler.
