Noctua NH-U12A, Premium CPU Cooler with High-Performance Quiet NF-A12x25 PWM Fans (120mm, Brown)

My Ryzen 5 5600x was consistently hitting 90-degree temps on AMDs stock cooler, even in undemanding games. But with this beefy Noctua cooler, I havent seen so much as a peak into 75 degrees, even on my most CPU-intensive titles. So it does its job beautifully, and its incredibly quiet to boot (even without the noise reducing add-ons). But I cant give this cooler the 5 stars it should otherwise deserve because of the absolutely abysmal fan-mounting solution. You get two 120mm fans that attach to the heat sink with incredibly flimsy aluminum brackets, such that when the case is stood up and the cooler is now parallel to the ground, the fans sag and actually hang about half an inch below the bottom of the heat sink. I imagine it has only a marginal affect on the cooling, but it looks and feels incredibly sloppy, especially for a $120 cooler.

Ive been using this cooler for the past 7 months on a 10th generation intel processor (i7 10700k). Ive been thoroughly impressed with this cooler, as temperatures average around the 68 degrees celcius to 72 degrees celcius range during extended use. The heatsink design allows for 100% unobstructed view of the RAM slots in most modern motherboards.

Noctua is the best, but unnecessary if you dont have an overclock-able CPU.

So I did research first to see if I had any comparability issues and then compared liquid cooling vs fans as I have never used fans before. But for the bang for your buck and performance the Noctua has made a great fan that gives you performance, power and easy to install mounts. The only down side is it comes in tan/brown colors but they do make a black version.

Was a little nervous but it turned out to be super easy to install and very quiet keeps my cpu cooler than ever.

He decirlo porque si no reviento. Pedazo disipador, capaz de amansar cualquier procesador de 8 núcleos. Lo tengo con un Ryzen 7 1700 si lo se a buenas horas. Pero lo importante es que es capaz de mantener 70 grados con el procesador overclockeado a su absoluto limite. También tengo que resaltar que es una tumba, super silencioso incluso con el pc en carga. Para quienes vengan por parte de Intel también he de decir que un amigo pillo exactamente el mismo disipador y es capaz de mantener el i7 10700K a 4,9GHz con 73 grados jugando y 85 con prueba muy intensivas de procesador. Si quieres despreocuparte de la temperatura de tu CPU este es una de las mejores soluciones por aire.

Noticeable improvement from a NH-D14. Full ram clearance and fits my Corsair 500R case. Graphics card is easier to remove now compared with the D14. Be sure that the cooler is facing the right direction.
