Noctua NH-U12A, Premium CPU Cooler with High-Performance Quiet NF-A12x25 PWM Fans (120mm, Brown)

I bought this to replace the single 140mm radiator that came with my new MSI Aegis 5800x. I was hitting core temps of 90+ degrees at default settings for the PC. Im rarely seeing 65 degrees now. Easy to install on AM4 socket. If you are replacing an existing AM4 cooler then fold some cardboard to set behind the case cutout for the cpu to keep inward pressure on the mount before removing existing bracket. Excellent cooler!!!

Piazzato su una MSI MAG B650M MORTAR WIFI Micro ATX coricata (orizzontale) dentro quel cubetto del thermaltake core v21, raffresca senza problemi un Ryzen 9 7950X che arriva tranquillamente a 5,8 MHz e segna punteggi Aida e Cinebench in linea con quelli dei test online. Qualche ventola qua e la per aiutarlo a smaltire.

High quality cooler, nicely packaged and performance is excellent. It keeps my 5900x running at 67C under full load (PBO off). I used the included fans at first but found them ugly and kinda noisy. So switched to a single Arctic P12 which actually gave almost identical results but with a lower noise output.

It is heavy and big. You have to put in your ram stick first as the cooler just clears them at least on my board. Plan it out first which way you are going to mount it.

5800x @ 4.4ghz doesnt go above 54 degrees during heavy gaming and idles in the low 30s. Its nice and quiet too, simple installation. Glad i went for this over AIO

This thing runs my 5900X and 5600X amazingly cool. I came here from the scythe mugen 5 and boy does it make a difference. I dont think its just the fans either. The actual design on the cooler makes a huge difference. I used the NF-A12x25 fans on my mugen 5 and it did help but still felt like it wasnt adequate. However, on the u12A it feels like its been so optimized. I might officially be a noctua fanboy now.

There is cat hair on the fan and is super dusty. I paid a higher price for a new cooler. Not a used one. This is horrible.
