For the price, this cooler is an absolute king. It has the best fan for the job, plenty of cooling area, and a super easy and effective mounting system. Since getting this my thermals have dropped dramatically. The fact that this is only 70$ is a steal. Notctua is amazing.

Noctua makes some of the best CPU coolers and fans in the industry. The NH-U12S is no exception.

It arrived with a rapid delivery. impressively quality and sturdy product. Very slim design it doesnt look bulky and so no need to worry about ram height clearance either. Every single detailed has been thought about cooler.easy instalments with easy instructions.it includes all the parts bits n bobs u need(intel, AMD kits,screw driver,corner rubbers,second fan clip,noctua badge, bits n bobs etc) running it with one fan and I was in doubt about this product efficiency but it handles temps very good. Intel i7 12700k (10cores 20threads) overclocked to 5.1ghz and temps are 40-55c max through gaming(nomansky,GTA 5,fallout 76,farcry newdawn et.) on ultra settings or audio rendering (Ableton live)throughout over 60 channels of DAW.never reached to 56 or above yet. Of course rooms temperature and most importantly Ur towers airflow efficiency are the facts on an air-coolers efficiency.i believe it will be more efficient with second fan if u buy that extra. So far Im totally happy with this product. If u re not a fan of aio and dont like any liquid running in Ur rig like me or u dont need big aio or big aircooler then this product is perfect for u. Highly recommended

Very solid CPU cooler with great and quiet performance - in a decently solid case, its nearly inaudible, even with a second fan attached to it. Additionally, even when you hear it, its not only quiet and only on a OCed processor, its also a pleasantly unobtrusive sound signature - no whirring, whistling or intermittent changes.

My cooler came with the wrong mounting bars for LGA 1700. The instructions and box specify NM-IMB3 mounting bars but my kit came with NM-IMB2 v2 which I did not realize until the very last step of mounting the cooler onto the bars (maybe shame on me for not checking alignment before putting the thermal paste down). The NM-IMB2 v2 bars are too far apart and do not line up with the screws on the heat sink.

looked over a ton of liquid AIO and decided on this for my S340 case. CPU never stays above 57C for long, even in the california summer.
