Ce ventirad reste inaudible sur le Ryzen 7 première génération (14 nm) que jai monté sur un PC cet hiver.

I was sick of the controller on my corsair watercooler constantly malfunctioning. I decided to roll-back to something less touchy, and Noctua does this the best. I dont OC, so my 1700x runs just fine at basically zero noise with this thing. Quite the departure from the malfunctioning corsair cooler that would ramp up pump and fans at random when the controller kept falling over.

single fan noctua ippc 2000 horizontal. ryzen 1700 oced [email protected]. idle 31c, prime95 70c (constant) 72c spike.arctic mx4 tim. Water is for plebs. I can do 4.0 at 1.42v but it idles at 35c, prime95 76c (constant) spike 80c. not worth the extra 100mhz. Im considering stepping back down to 3.8@ 1.15v. which is probably what im going to do.

Mi sono trovato a chiedermi quanta attenzione ai dettagli si possa mettere nella realizzazione di un componente (un dissipatore per CPU) generalmente anonimo. Pensavo che più o meno si assomigliassero tutti, ma mi sbagliavo. Il Noctua che ho preso è ottimo, robusto, elegante. Funziona perfettamente e ne consiglierei decisamente lacquisto a chiunque abbia qualche soldo da spendere per un dissipatore.

Facilissimo da montare, molto piu facile dellartic freezer che è complicatissimo.

I have installed the Noctua cooler on a Ryzen 5 3600. While I am not overclocking it, I wanted a decent and silent CPU cooler option and this does the job perfectly as I cannot hear it. Temperature peaks at around 68C in summer while gaming, so I am fairly happy. Idle / low activity temperature stays around 35-45C.

I had the renowned CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo before this. I was on a tighter budget at the time. It was great at idle and medium load, but at full load it was more noticeable and easily contributes to the overall sound of the room. This one is absolutely impossible to hear until 80%-100% PWM and even then is 2/3 the noise of the CoolerMaster. It keeps my Ryzen cool enough not to warrant full power anyway. Definitely worth scrounging another thirty bucks and passing on the reliable old dog that is the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo.
