If youve never used their products before, then youre in for a treat: its a top tier product which includes not only the cooler and fan, but also the packaging and installation. An overall premium experience. In this case you do get what you pay for! To understand my reference point, Ive built about 30 desktops. Ive always either used either the stock cooler from Intel (this is my first ever AMD CPU) or bought one of the highly regarded budget coolers like the Arctic Freezer 7 or the Hyper 212 EVO for overclocked rigs. And these are fine coolers that have worked well in all installations.

Greater than one week10 minutes to install (15 including removing old cooler and thermal paste). Has been keeping my always on Ryzen 1800x at about 40-45 degrees Celsius with moderate Plex server load. The fan is positioned to blow out of the top of the case rather than into the case which is a huge plus for ventilation. No audible noise over the room fan/air purifier I have running on their lowest rpms

> 3 dayI used this on my Asus Strix B350-F AM4 motherboard with a Ryzen 1200. It keeps it at around 63 degrees Celsius running prime95 at 3.85Ghz, at an ambient temp of around 28 degrees Celsius. I switched the fan though to a 2,000 rpm Noctua ippc fan.The install is very easy and secure compared to other tower heat sinks Ive used in the past. The quality of this heat sink is worth the extra cost compared to other lower priced options.
