This is the necessary bracket to buy to be able to use on several Noctua cooler models that you need to check first on the Noctua website for compatibility. This definitely works on at least the Noctua NH-D15s model with the same Noctua quality you expect at a small price. If you recently purchased their coolers, Noctua may send you a free compatible bracket. Otherwise, this is the small price to pay with free Amazon shipping for Prime members.

> 24 hourUpgrade motherboard from 1151 to 1700 CPU (i7-9700k to i7-12700k). My original Noctua NH-D15 came with the mount for the older LGA 1151 CPU chipset. This new mounting bracket is required for the LGA1700 CPU. They are different sizes.
The NM-i17xx-MP83 is a SecuFirm2 mounting upgrade kit that allows Noctua CPU coolers with 83mm mounting pitch (see detailed compatibility information) to be upgraded to Intel’s latest LGA1700 (LGA17xx family) platform. For Noctua coolers with 83mm mounting pitch
The NM-i17xx-MP83 kit is compatible with a wide range of Noctua CPU coolers that use 83mm mounting pitch, whereas heatsinks with 78mm mounting pitch must use the MP78 version. Please refer to our detailed compatibility information to check which kit is right for your cooler.
