> 3 daySo, I was going to be traveling through the US desert in July and went ahead and paid people to line my care with this stuff and put the 140mil stuff on the roof. They did a fantastic job and my car is nice and quiet and I got cold AC which cooled my car in about 40 seconds after sitting in 120 degree heat. My sub sounds about the same in a CX-5 and the doors have a nice heavy thud when they close. Added almost 100 pounds to my car with this stuff but no change in MPGs. Im sure this stuff adds rigidity to the entire car if there was ever a small fender bender I think my car would come out better.

> 3 dayI used these on my tacoma and they worked very well. Killed any vibrations that I had before applying. Great first layer for sound deadening.

> 3 dayI installed this in a 2010 4dr f350. I covered most of the floor and did the inside and outside of the doors. I also used kilmat and they are the same product as far as i can tell. They literally came in a box with nearly identical labels saying the country of origin is Russia. So same company made them? Either way i couldnt tell a difference. Install: is fairly easy, i used a roller and heat gun if it was cold outside to warm them up, otherwise put in sun before using. Biggest tip i figured out for the inside of doors (pita) is to take the backing off, then reinstall backing then put in door. This makes pulling the backing off easier and youll know if it was gonna tear, and easier to get in door with backing on. Took me 3 partial weekends to finish having never taken the seats or doors off this truck before, had to buy some sockets, star drives. And its a freaking big truck. I also used the red sound foam stuff noico sells in the doors and on the floor. Result : wow!! I wasnt expecting a huge impact, but it honestly drastically changed the noise and this might sound weird but perceived ride quality. Hitting Bumps in that truck was loud and jarring, i didnt realize how much noise made an impact but it feels like a different truck with the sound dampening. So much more composed on the road. I have to assume that while it dampened noise it has the same impact on vibrations in general and this is a big metal truck with no other dampening going on, so once i added all of this it changed a lot more than just noise. Conclusion: possibly the biggest upgrade per dollar i could have done to this truck. Fantastic.

> 3 dayI installed this Noico 80 mil in addition to the red 30 mil thermal insulation. I followed their recommendations of using this on the floor, in the doors, front/rear fire walls, and ceiling. The difference was AMAZING in terms of road-noise and reverberation in the cab at highway speeds. Unfortunately I installed this in a truck, so it will never be as quiet as a luxury vehicle - but incredibly close. I didnt use a decibel meter to test before/after, but to my ears its a world of improvement.

> 3 daythis so far has taken extreme heat in summers and not wanted to peel. covers significant area for cheap. it works just about on par with dynamat, probably quite a bit better than fatmat imo. very good adhesion even in cold applications surprisingly. sound quality is significant. less road noise. all the symptoms of a solid sound deadened car! Highly recommend at price and performance!

> 3 dayI have previously installed sound deadener on the rest of my vehicle and ordered this for my trunk. I was somewhat weary of purchasing this product after using Dynamat for the rest of my vehicle given the difference in price. The quality of this product is on level with, if not better than, the Dynamat equivalent. It was very easy to install and I much prefer the simple silver backing to the black with silver logo of Dynamat. Will definitely be purchasing more to do the floorboards.
