We are using them for our outside scones lights for Christmas instead of plane white. They are very festive.

Color did not look the same as when unlit. The bulbs are magenta color but when lit they are simple pink

I previously order 50, C7-9C Ceramic Outdoor Christmas light bulbs for an old string of outdoor lights. I was unable to locate these replacement bulbs anywhere. I also needed C7-5C assorted to replace bulbs that were burned out or broken in an older string of light that were on the Christmas tree when I was a child back in the 40s. When I went on line and did a google search, I found Novelty Lights and found the C7-5C bulbs and I ordered 50 each of the assorted replacement bulbs. They look like the the older bulbs that were on tree back in the 40s. I rate the Novelty company a 5 star rating of the shipment in a timely manner, also none of them were broken. Glad to find these in bulk with various colors. Made our holiday seemed old fashioned and special.

Light intensity varies from bulb to bulb. I guess this is to be part of the nostalgic charm. What is not charming are minute black specks on most of the bulbs.

I checked several different major chain stores around my town for solid-colored C7 lights to replace a few bulbs in a string that goes around my front porch railing. I couldnt find them anywhere! You would think solid C7 bulbs would be easy to find but apparently they are being phased out. I was nervous about ordering light bulbs online but these were an excellent price considering you get 25 of them, and they arrived completely intact with nothing broken. They work great and dont appear to be cheaply made. They look great all lit up at night and blend in perfectly with my older C7 bulbs. Very pleased!
