> 24 hourI dont use this product often, but when I do it is absolutely amazing. I first used it for an acrylic contact juggling ball (picture a fortune tellers crystal). Then I used it to polish the crystal on a vintage Rolex watch replica (supposedly made with a genuine crystal from a 1970s Rolex). Restored it to PERFECT condition.

> 24 hourI recently learned that this fantastic product is available through Amazon in gallon bottles and at a cost well below what it retails for in antique stores (the only other place Ive ever seen it for sale until now). Novus comes in three grades identified by numbers 1, 2 and 3. For my needs, #2 is the stuff to have. It does exactly as it promises: removes objectionable scratches on plastic surfaces. It has a fine abrasive in its formula that does the job but never harms the surface by being too strong. It works great on cloudy headlight lenses, too. Dont waste your money on those fancy, multi-stage headlight polishing/restoration kits; give Novus #3 or Novus #2 a try and save time and effort. I have been using this product for nearly 20 years now and have had great success with it polishing out damaged furniture finishes, as well. Novus #3 is a bit grittier than #2 and should be used only on really bad surfaces but youll need to follow that by using #2 afterwards in order to get the quality job.

> 24 hourThis stuff is pure magic! I bought it to fix the scratches on my plexiglass windshield for my Polaris razor. I had tons of mild scratches all over the windshield and couldnt see out of it during the day. I used the Novus number 2 and bought a cheap drill buffer thingy, and it only took me about 20 minutes to buff the front and back, and now it looks like new! I also used this on my headlights for my truck. When I bought my truck the headlights were super crusty and faded. I spent over $40 on a kit that has you sand the plastic down with multiple grades, and use multiple stages of their chemical crap which only helped about 40%. I put a tiny coat of the Novus 2 on it and buffed it for 5 minutes and they look brand new. I wont use any other plastic finisher.

> 24 hourI have used this product as a finishing polish on Corian counter tops using a random orbital polisher/waxer. This is after sanding the surfaces with 120 grit through 2000 grit sanding discs and a random orbital sander to remove surface scratches and sanding scratches. The end result is a surface shine that rivals the shine of granite counter tops.
