21-11-2024I like this brand. The fact there is no alcohol is amazing. They used to sale this in one of the stores near me but stopped. I was so disappointed then came here to find it in bigger bottles. I like this brand because it seems to be stronger than others (could be the glycerite). I have tried a few other brands and they seem like I have to add more. This stuff I don’t even use what is considered a serving in my drinks and I am good. Definitely addictive lol

> 3 dayA slightly more concentrated version of the stevia product usually available. Supposed to be better for hot drinks. Did not notice it being better. Stevia is great in hot or cold drinks in either form. Anyone today that is not aware of this natural sweetener for use in drinks and cooking, needs to get with the program. It is a healthy product with no down side or side affects that I am aware of. I used to use aspartame/Nutrasweet brand (the blue package) because we were told it was a safe sugar substitute. I experienced splitting headaches, gas and bloating of my digestive system and overall malaise. It caused my children to be hyperactive. There is controversy surrounding the use of the artificial sweetener and its safety. Studies (probably paid for by the companies that make it) have supported its use by substantiating no significant side affects in test subjects. But why use and artificial substance that enriches chemical companies and is bad for your health? Stevia sweeteners are natural products derived from the herb stevia rebaudiana, a South American plant. I have used the product in all of its forms for over twenty years and I have not noticed any negative side effects. In my opinion it tastes like a simple sugar when added to iced teas, with no noticeable aftertaste. It seems to have a slightly bitter, if any, aftertaste when added to hot coffee.Since I drink my coffee black, adding cream may change this observation for others. It can be used in cooking. Some experimentation is necessary to find the correct amount for various recipes. No calories, sweet taste. Doesnt get any better! Well, maybe bacon.... PS Most of the artificially sweetened drinks (Coke/Pepsi products) in the US use aspartame as the sweetening agent. In Japan, over half of these types of products offer a stevia sweetened choice. PPS The main reason the chemical companies dont like stevia is because it cannot be patented.

> 3 dayI bought a 2 pack of the organic Glycerite and when I opened the bottle it was brown in color! Everytime I have purchased this it has been clear after shaking. I don’t know whether to use it or send it back! Has anyone else experienced this discoloration with the Glycerite?

> 3 daySuper sweet taste...be careful dont add too much to anything. And no real after taste. Most stevia products ive tried before would take a lot of product to sweeten anything and some of the drops had an alcohol like after taste. This product is awesome!

> 3 dayIn my quest to find healthier sugars, I have learned that Stevia is one of the best sugars around. I have tried many brands, in packet form, in concentrated form, and alcohol-based versions. By far, Stevia in glycerine is the best for mouth-feel, and the closest tasting to actual sugar cane with ZERO aftertaste. I cannot speak highly enough of this product. I go through many bottles of it a year in my teas and coffees. The best part about this is that its glycerine based, which is something our bodies need for joint support. Do your research on glycerine supplementation for more facts. The ingredients list also references Certified Organic Stevia. Non-GMO! Non-GMO foods are a no-brainer. Secondly, I have been in ketosis for over a year, and this product allows me to enjoy sweetened foods without spiking my insulin or raising glucose levels. Its also not a chemical like Splenda and Nutrasweet, so rest assured it will not contribute to cancer. There is one recommendation that I have if you use this product. It is reported that microwaving glycerine is not a good idea, as it creates a toxic by-product. So be sure you heat your beverages first, and then add the Stevia at the end. If I had to give this product one ding, I would complain about the cap. Because the solution is syrupy, it tends to collect around the cap. This is not a problem if you run the bottle under the tap to clean off the residue every once and a while. Ive noticed that NOW has changed the cap type from a bigger mouth into a smaller one, probably in response to this issue. But we warned that it can get a little messy at times. Otherwise, the product itself is well worth this small inconvenience. Be sure to look for this in a multi-pack. You can save a LOT more money per bottle. If you are like me and go through Stevia a lot, the multi-bottle discounts are far more worth it than those selling the single bottles.
