Ive had a few of these. Theyre awesome and get the job done with zero batteries. Only complaint is the tube is prone to snapping with X amount of wear. I keep mine hanging on a hanger when not in use. I think its unavoidable at some point. Helpful for running or walking in the dark...Ive even had motorists stop and thank me for wearing it.

I am gushing about, and showing off, the Tracer360 to my riding buddies, friends and co-workers. This product is absolutely amazing. Their customer service is equally amazing. Cycling is my passion and something I greatly enjoy doing. Days are getting shorter and I dont get out of work early enough to finish my rides before nightfall. This product is the final piece to my night safety gear. I went on a group ride with it recently and one of the guys I ride with has already said that he is getting one. Everyone else who has seen it thinks that it is fantastic. Ive had cars slow down as they pass me while Im out riding to get a better look and one car passenger yelled out her window, I LOVE your lights! I am recommending it to every person I know who either cycles or jogs past sundown. This is the best product Ive ever purchased for my cycling safety (and Ive purchased a lot). I have absolutely NO regrets about my purchase (sometimes eyebrows go up when I mention the price, but it is definitely worth every penny). It is exactly what Ive been looking for to enhance my visibility when I ride after sundown. I hope Noxgear is in business a good long time because when this one breaks, if the warranty has expired, Im going to need to purchase another. I would make one suggestion (and I did when I contacted them). I require their product so that I can stay active as the days get shorter, so I dont mind having to buy batteries when it requires, but some people have mentioned that they dont like the idea of the added cost. I recommend that they consider making it rechargeable either via USB or provide an AC charger. (And that was my two cents.) On top of the incredible piece of safety equipment theyve manufactured and the fact that theyve made safety cool, their customer service is truly customer-centric. I originally ordered a Large/Medium, but it turned out to be too large and the light tubes hung too low and too loose. I contacted Noxgear from the Contact the seller button, explained my predicament and requested to exchange my Large/Medium for a Small. The answer was yes, no questions asked. Now THAT is Customer Service. All the best to Noxgear.

I feel much safer walking and running in the evenings with the Tracer 360. I am 5 feet, 118 lbs, and wear a size 4 shirt, and the small fits me okay with a modification. I like to wear the belt snug on my chest., tucked right under The Girls. Initially, the tube on the lower right side kind of stuck out and grazed my right elbows, but I modified it by tying a rubber band in the back, about 3-4 inches below the on-off switch, to fasten the two tubes together. This holds the tubes closer to my body so they dont keep whacking my arms. Ive only had it a few weeks, but it feels like the construction is sturdy. It certainly is bright! I have noticed that cars slow down and steer well clear of me on out suburban streets! Other walkers and runners have asked where they can get one. I do find the flashing patterns a little distracting, so I use the solid colors, which do not bother me. When I run, the weight of the unit on the back initially bothers me, but I stop noticing it after awhile, and I think a little discomfort is well worth the safety trade off. However, I have not yet worn it on a run longer than 4 miles since I am currently recovering from an injury. I am curious to see how I will feel after 10 miles. If it bothers me on longer runs, I will update my review to reflect that. But again, I think the safety it provides is well worth a little discomfort. I know there are cheaper versions out there. Is it worth it to have all the different colors and flashing patterns? For me, I think so. In well-lit, low traffic residential areas, I use a solid, milder color, like blue or green. In areas that are darker but have fast-moving traffic, I will use the flashiest of the flash patterns, which I find too distracting to use all the time. I also like to use the flash patterns or more unusual colors (like pink) when there are competing lights from buildings, signs, cars, etc. So I like having the options for different environments. But if you run in the same kind of conditions all the time, then you may be able to get away with a cheaper competitive brand. Final note: my Asian-American mother -- who *ALWAYS* thinks I have paid too much for anything I purchase unless it is on 80% off clearance and *then* haggled to get another 5% off -- thinks that the Tracer360 is money well spent, and now wants me to buy one for her. And thats pretty much the highest praise I can give any product.

Ive only done a half dozen runs in this so far but I love the peace of mind of being more visible during early or late runs without wearing a headlamp or keeping my phone in my hand, risking killing the battery while out. I am giving it three stars for durability because at this point, its an uknown for me. Im hoping it stands up to my sweat. As for weight & comfort: its definitely lightweight and I barely know its there; and where I dont its not constricting or uncomfortable in anyway. Its easy to slip on, has several light modes I just know Im being seen during those neighborhood runs, where Id rather be on the asphalt than the concrete sidewalk. As of this writing mid-January 2022, I would definitely recommend this. I know there are other options for less money but I like the light-up function of this versus those that just reflect. Im not an avid runner at this point, so if I keep up with the running that might impact how I view this product.

I bought this to walk our dog at night. I have received multiple inquiries and compliments about this. It’s easy to put on and charges pretty fast. Not sure how long each charge lasts but so far, it has been great.

3 Jan 2018 update after almost 1 full year of use, 1023 miles logged: Still 5-STARS, the vest continues to operate as advertised. Its been through several rain storms and extreme cold for (Central Florida). I have replaced the batteries 3 times in one year. After every run I have rinsed it off being careful not to get battery compartment wet. I still get questions from other runners and cars passing by. Once again if you want to seen at night and early mornings get this vest. My review after 4 predawn runs totaling 30 miles about 10 of those miles in the street no sidewalk available. The Tracer360 is light weight and bright after the first few steps I forgot I was wearing it. Im 63, 215 pounds and ordered the XL, after adjusting the straps and tubes I still found there was a little bounce in the lighted tubes so I crossed them over my head to form an X this took some additional slack out and there was no more bounce in the tubes or the battery pack, this also eliminated the possibility of the tubes sliding off my shoulders as I ran. I wear a chest heart rate monitor when Im running and found the included reflective belt on the Tracer360 did not interfere with it at all. The belt rested just below the heart rate strap and never moved. The purpose of this product is to illuminate your person at night and it does that with flying colors (pun intended). I used one of the many flashing modes on each run, not only did every approaching vehicle move over before they even got close to me, they all actually slowed down, some of them to a crawl trying to figure out what the hell was approaching them, this even happened several times while I was running on the sidewalk with 10 to 20 feet between road and sidewalk. If you are wearing the Tracer360 you be seen!!!

I typically do not take the time to write reviews, so this is obviously something that I feel very strongly about. This is an incredible piece of equipment. My expectations were pretty high given some of the market videos and the Kickstarter background, and I was ready to be disappointed...I wasnt. The attention to detail in the engineering of the this product is top notch. First, the reflective belt portion of the Tracer 360 Vest felt extremely supportive when adjusted for my torso. I purchased a large (Im 511, 185) and the fit was great on my fast runs 5K at 6:25 pace, as well as my longer training runs of 10+ miles. My point of comparison is a similar vest product without the LED from Amphipod, which would ride up on my chest, loosen around the shoulder, totally ruining the flow of my runs. The Trace 360 was simply part of me, once I adjusted it appropriately the first time I used it. The overall weight of the unit was hardly noticeable, but keep in mind that this is the winter season and I have several layers. The cool factor comes with the neon LED lights. Again here the engineering is awesome. You can adjust the different color settings and light flashing/pulse scenes while the unit is still on. No need to be a yoga master to reach back and hit the single control button. The same button turns the unit off. Easy of use is a 10 here. As far as different colors and light scenes, there is probably 10 or more, lost count. Another great piece of design are small round clamps that slide along the LED lighting strip that keeps everything snug, and again prevents sliding around during the hardest portions of your run. I have used this mostly during my evening training runs, where I really get noticed by cars, pedestrians, pretty much everyone. I have received a lot of complements on this product, and comments on how much this increases the safe-visibility factor while on the road. I have also used this during my early morning bike rides. I enjoy the comfort and light weight factor here too. Overall a great product, well designed, well built and super happy to have come across it. Highly recommend evening or early morning runs and biking.

Product: Tracer360° Illuminated Vest Price: $49.97 Cheapest Place to Buy: Amazon Product Dimensions: 3.6 x 2.5 x 8 inches; 5.6 ounces Guarantee: 1 year Manufacturer Warranty My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars ____________________________________________________________________________________________ I bought this vest to go with the LightHound dog harness I bought for my dog. Again I am not disappointed! It made me really visible so it does take a little while to get used to, but it felt really safe! The eye-catching, 360° illumination caused people driving by me in their cars to stop and ask where I got the cool-looking illuminated vest. They told me everyone should have them. Perfect for evening joggers, cyclists and dog walkers. There are 6 super bright solid colors - Red, Blue, Purple, Pink, Green, and Orange AND 5 multicolor flashing modes easily selectable at the press of a button right on the vest, easy to access while youre walking, running, etc. Unlike reflective running vests these flexible fiber optic cables, and 3M reflector chest belts alert traffic before their headlights are on you. The X shape of the light cables creates a larger visibility area, illuminating both sides of the body and making you visible from over a quarter mile in any direction. The vest is very lightweight (6.5 ounces), sweat-resistant and comfortable since its made with high quality sports mesh and elastic. With the slim, minimalistic design it wont trap sweat and you’ll forget you’re wearing it. Since this vest is highly adjustable it can be worn throughout the year. It expands easily to fit over a winter coat or adjusts down to fit over a tank top in summer. Zero bounce and rain-resistant. The vest takes 3 AAA batteries which should last about six months with daily use. Noxgear was founded by engineer athletes with great customer service too. This vest is truly a revolutionary design and far surpasses the old fashioned head lamps and reflective clothing. I am extremely pleased with the vest and could not even find one thing I did not like about it. I hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any questions about the Tracer 360° or want to leave your own personal review, leave a comment below.
