It blocks both intake vents on 3 different laptops. It is also pretty flimsy and if you plan to use it to hold your laptop while typing, it shakes quite a bit.

I purchased this stand as Im working from home and wanted my Macbook to be a bit closer to my second monitor height. I purchased this stand it arrived as it said it would thanks to Amazon. Put it together which was as easy as 123. The stand is much sturdier than I expected. The grip thats built onto the the arms is excellent my metal notebook has no slide and I dont worry its going to be scratched up either. If you need a stand for your notebook. This is the one!

Now that I am working at home full-time, I was getting neck aches from looking down at my computer all the time. This has solved the problem.

I think this is a better way for me to use my laptop--not hunched over typing. I was able to put it together easily. And it arrived on April 25, instead of the May 8 arrival date Id been told.

So far this has been working great! Gives me more space on my desk. Holds my doc and laptop.
