I bought this directly from Nuphy for about $10 cheaper and it took a week to arrive. I ordered the white with Night Shade key switches. I did not get the shine thru keycaps. This is probably the best prebuilt you can get under $150. The only serious contender would be Keychron which are more budget friendly, have more options for layout, but not as flashy as this one. I own a Keychron Q9 (40%) and Q2(60%) and they are very solid. But for aesthetics, they are not as nice. Also, this being wireless is a plus and it has a neat way of storing the dongle in the keyboard. The RGB is very beautiful. With the white board and keycaps, it looks very clean. The night shade switches are linear and are really nice and smooth. They are factory lubed and they are very consistent. The actuation and bottom out is very good for both typing and gaming. There is a lot of attention to detail on the keyboard and they are nice enough to give you a few sample switches for red, black, and the kangaroo green. I feel like the kangaroo green are a little pingy. It also came with a high quality switch puller and keycap remover. I have only 2 complaints. One is I wish this was VIA combatable, and I have no idea if you can reprogram the keys. Big bummer. Second complaint is that the keyboard has the windows button twice! First off, the first windows key that is on the left of the keyboard is in the wrong spot. Typically, it is found in between the CTRL and ALT buttons. Nope, on this keyboard they decided to give you, from left to right, CTRL, ALT, then WIN. Then going further, space bar, and then WIN KEY AGAIN! And for some reason that keycap is ALT. Hopefully they release a firmware update to address this.

Worth the price. This is really a good mech keyboard for everyone. Good quality (case and keyboard) and fancy design. I like the halo LED and indicate LED on the top left. Perfectly suit with both Win and Mac. Support with 3 mod connections. Choose the switch you would like type with. Thanks to the hot-swap pcb, we can also change switches we would like to try. If you are new to mech keyboard, this is good one to start with. If you are an keyboard enthusiast, want a keyboard with little fancy design and almost all modern keyboard functionalities, it is also a good keyboard to play with.

I have had my eye on the Halo65 for a little bit now and the more I watched and read about it, the more confident I was knowing I wouldn’t regret it. I was fortunate enough to snag this beauty with the Baby Kangaroo switches during the Black Friday sale before they sold out and I am more than impressed. The initial sound and feel of the keyboard out of the box is what I would imagine people in this hobby aim for and for someone like me, it’s absolutely perfect. The high quality pbt caps feel nice to the touch and the pre-lubed switches are smooth, poppy, and sound excellent. The top of the case is aluminum while the bottom is a sturdy plastic and they filled this bad boy full of silicone so the dampening is real! My favorite feature is the space bar dampener. Goodbye bandaid mod that half worked. Oh and rattle, who? The rgb is nice and easy to customize. They include a cool poster with all of the fn inputs and combinations on the back to customize the board to your liking and change other settings such as mac or windows mode. You can connect the board through Bluetooth, wired (nice quality braided cord included), or 2.4g dongle and the dongle can click right into the side of the board when not being used so you don’t lose it! Lastly, they provide you with a small assortment of switches for you to test out as well as some extra keycaps for you to take the customization even further! I personally opted for the night breeze switch in the space bar because I thought it felt the smoothest. You can tell they really put thought and effort into making this quality board and it’s almost unreal for the price. I highly recommend to anybody looking for a solid prebuilt!

I was very excited about this keyboard at the beginning. When i received the keyboard it was easy to setup. However, some keys dont work which makes the keyboard useless. Not happy with the purchase. :(

Had an Air75 and when I saw the Halo65 I had to have it. Very well built, sounds great and the lighting is great. The software could be better, still seems like beta software but it works OK.

Nuphy has done an outstanding job with this board. The box opening experience is awesome. The build quality is excellent, the cncd frame is smooth and has no noticeable blemishes. I got it with the baby raccoons, and I would say they are a little heavier then a yellow, but not quite as heavy as a black. I also own a keychron k6 pro with the gateron g pro 2.0 reds and I would say the switches are noticeably heavier and you may notice some finger fatigue while you are getting used to them. All in all, I would definitely buy another nuphy board.

This board is kinda hard to customize with all the screws but out of the box this sounds and feels very nice. The downside to this product is nuphy software it doesn’t launch but rather than that I would say this and keychron are solid options

The NuPhy Halo65 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with PBT Keycaps, 65% RGB Hot-swap Wireless Keyboard, Supports Bluetooth、2.4G and Wired Connection, Compatible with Mac and Windows-White (Gateron Brown Switches) This is a customizable mechanical keyboard, with hot swapable caps, and switches. Full RGB per key backlight with inside and outside halo full RGB ring. You can choose your switches when ordering, I received the Gateron Brown, which sound really nice to me, and feel amazing. They are a bit quieter than another keyboard I have with blue switches that are a lot clickier and louder. The build quality over all is amazing, with an aluminum Top case and heavy ABS bottom. My wife commented on how great it looks and she thought the Halo ring was awesome. I think she wants her own now. It has always been so hard to find truly great Mac compatible keyboards, finally we are starting to see some, and this is the best Ive yet seen. Out of the box its amazing, and you can customize it until your hearts content. Now I am not a mechanical keyboard expert by any stretch. Im a beginner for sure, But this blew my mind, Especially as someone who uses both Mac and PC. This is perfect for me and a truly premium feeling and looking piece of kit. I am truly in love. I love looking at it, I love using it. It feels quality and premium and looks it too. I recommend this if you want something great out of the box, or a great starter platform to play with switches and keycaps.

This thing is heavy. Really heavy. I guess that means its built well. It certainly feels like its built well at least. Mine came with three space bars. One was just kind of floating in the box by itself. If you are accustomed to the usual cherry MX switches, this is going to feel a little odd. Typing on this doesnt really have the nice click clack of most mechanical keyboards, but it doesnt have the squishy feel of a membrane keyboard. It feels like typing on something soft that smacks into something hard. Its...different. Not really bad, just different. I still havent figured out how to use the function keys. I thought it would be as simple as pressing the function button and the associated key, but that does nothing. That could be a driver issue, I guess. All I did with this was plug it in and start using it.
