The build quality of this keyboard is just top notch. It is an aluminum frame on top of a plastic base and its quite heavy with a deep thonky sound. The baby kangaroo switch version I have has a slight tactile bump to is. Maybe a bit less than a brown. Sounds is quite good and I can only assume these are factory lubed as I dont feel any scratch on the switches at all. The print on the keycaps are bold and clear with no noticeable flaws that I can see. You have 2 stage feet on the rear of the keyboard which I love because I prefer a taller tilt profile to my keyboards. It says in the Amazon description Seven switches of different types are included in the package to facilitate users to find the most suitable switch and feel and I feel thats a bit misleading. Its just a sampling of 7 different switch types in the box. Not sure thats very useful. I mean if one of my switches breaks, I would want a switch of the same type thats on my keyboard. They also include some additional keycaps including some Windows specific keys if you want to use this on a Windows machine instead of Mac. I give big points for this. I much prefer changing the caps out vs having keys with both windows and mac prints on that. This is the same thing Keychron does with their keyboards. As far as a prebuilt goes, I think this is one of the best Mac keyboards on the market. There isnt a ton of Mac gamers out there though so Im not sure 65% was the way to go. Something like a TKL would have been a much better idea for a Mac specific keyboard.

Had an Air75 and when I saw the Halo65 I had to have it. Very well built, sounds great and the lighting is great. The software could be better, still seems like beta software but it works OK.

Nuphy has done an outstanding job with this board. The box opening experience is awesome. The build quality is excellent, the cncd frame is smooth and has no noticeable blemishes. I got it with the baby raccoons, and I would say they are a little heavier then a yellow, but not quite as heavy as a black. I also own a keychron k6 pro with the gateron g pro 2.0 reds and I would say the switches are noticeably heavier and you may notice some finger fatigue while you are getting used to them. All in all, I would definitely buy another nuphy board.

I’ve always been very particular about things like the build quality and acoustics of my keyboards. I’m *very* impressed with both of those aspects of this offering from NuPhy. They really hit it out of the park with the Halo65. Out of the box as a prebuilt this stands up there with entry level custom boards that cost about $150 more at least and it’s hot swappable so you can throw your favorite flavor of switch onto it and hit the ground running. Any time this board is available to purchase on Amazon as opposed to being shipped from China when purchased from NuPhy directly, jump on it. You won’t be disappointed in the slightest.

it looks exactly the same as the product pictures. I love the switch soooooooo much, the typing sound is what I am looking for all the time. The keycaps are also so well made. (I bought this keyboard because I bought the nuphy air75 low profile one before, that one is great, thats why I chose nuphy again when looking for a full mechanical keyboard). Bluetooth works perfectly. however, one thing is this keyboard is much heavier than I expected, will make it less portable, better to leave it at home. I will not carry it around, so it is okay for me. Overall, I am really satisfied with this keyboard, and feel it worths the money and time. There is highly chance that I will buy another keyboard if nuphy has new keyboard release in the future.

Amazing. I switched from the ducky 2 mini and Im glad I did. Really great straight out of the box and the switches are awesome. Impressed with the quality of the build. No lubing needed.

I have had my eye on the Halo65 for a little bit now and the more I watched and read about it, the more confident I was knowing I wouldn’t regret it. I was fortunate enough to snag this beauty with the Baby Kangaroo switches during the Black Friday sale before they sold out and I am more than impressed. The initial sound and feel of the keyboard out of the box is what I would imagine people in this hobby aim for and for someone like me, it’s absolutely perfect. The high quality pbt caps feel nice to the touch and the pre-lubed switches are smooth, poppy, and sound excellent. The top of the case is aluminum while the bottom is a sturdy plastic and they filled this bad boy full of silicone so the dampening is real! My favorite feature is the space bar dampener. Goodbye bandaid mod that half worked. Oh and rattle, who? The rgb is nice and easy to customize. They include a cool poster with all of the fn inputs and combinations on the back to customize the board to your liking and change other settings such as mac or windows mode. You can connect the board through Bluetooth, wired (nice quality braided cord included), or 2.4g dongle and the dongle can click right into the side of the board when not being used so you don’t lose it! Lastly, they provide you with a small assortment of switches for you to test out as well as some extra keycaps for you to take the customization even further! I personally opted for the night breeze switch in the space bar because I thought it felt the smoothest. You can tell they really put thought and effort into making this quality board and it’s almost unreal for the price. I highly recommend to anybody looking for a solid prebuilt!

I was very excited about this keyboard at the beginning. When i received the keyboard it was easy to setup. However, some keys dont work which makes the keyboard useless. Not happy with the purchase. :(

The keyboard came with some switches being different than the ones I ordered as you can see in the images the blue switches also the keyboard is supposed to come with a set of different switches to try them out but as you can see from the images a lot of them are the same and from looking at unboxing reviews they came with the wrong switches. Honestly the keyboard seem like it might have been used it had some white marks on it right out of the box maybe a return that was resold. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to resolve this issue with Amazon so I guess just take that into consideration when order. So far though I will say it does seem like the one and done type of keyboard has some good weight to it and sounds nice not super thocky it’s more like the pinballs type of sound it’s a bit more quite. Compared to the Keychron k6 it feels heavier and sounds less hallow. The k6 didn’t sound hallow or bad to me before using the Halo65 but after using it I can definitely tell it has a lot done from factory to it to give it its sound. I wish it had more of a thocky sound but still sounds pretty good none of the less I would recommend it.

This is an excellent 65% wireless bluetooth gaming keyboard. What youre here for: - 65% layout - has home end keys on side.No numpad or F keys. - Gateron switches or other mid-tier switches. - Blocky design. - All connectivity options - receiver, Bluetooth, USB. - LED switches. Side profile has a LED strip. Extra goodies - Cool anime style stickers. - Great presentation and packaging. - Extra switches to try or hot swap. - Extra space bar and other keycap colors. What this keyboard does best - Fantastic typing feedback. The layout has a good bounceback for the space bar and all the important typing keys like shift and tab. Many keyboards tend to have a heavy and hollow feeling space bar/shift bars. This effect is sort of like the energy return you get from a running shoe like ultra boost or hyper burst. The combination of key switch, cap, and design provide a springy response, perfect for a typing enthusiast. The gateron browns are fantastic on this keyboard. - Even, responsive feedback on all keys for gaming and typing. - All around connectivity is great for connecting to different devices. - Robust and sleek design. I feel its somewhat pricey close to $150 for not having 70% (function keys), dials, or analog media controls. There are a lot of features that makes it worth at least in the $100 range - nice design, hot swappable, bluetooth, great typing feedback, and compact build. Recommended. Id put this closer to $100 - $110 range, and Id put 5 stars on this. If the switches arent premium/lubed, AND no analog dials/controls, it should not cost more than $120.

1. The Halo65 gaming keyboard supports both Mac and Windows dual-system mode and can connect up to four devices, making it easy to meet both productivity and gaming needs.

2.Moulded with the double-shot PBT process, the all-new NuPhy KOP keycaps sport an ergonomic rounded-corner, flatter design, as well as grease and scratch resistant surfaces that retain their stunning look and feel even after extensive uses.

3.Interestingly, the side light in our upper left corner has been used to indicate the battery level. When the level is above 80%, the sidelight shows a light blue-to-green gradient. When the level is between 20% and 80 %, the sidelight shows a deep blue-to-purple gradient. When the level is below 20%, the sidelight shows an orange-to-magenta gradient.

4.It is worth noting that we also offer a special version of Halo65 showcasing the electrophoretic white coloration method . Due to its extremely high defect rate, Usually this kind of technology is only found in expensive custom keyboards. So, it"s another big challenge that we"ve accomplished.

Halolight is another successful attempt at product structure since Air75’s unibody aluminum design. Many keyboards feature RGB lights for decoration, but they can only be appreciated from a distance or through reflections on a desk in the dark. We thought, perhaps we can adjust the structure, so that the RGB light strip illuminate the “inner” and “outer” apertures simultaneously. This way, you can see the RGB light strip while typing. So we hollowed out the aluminum alloy body and replaced it with translucent plastic, allowing RGB light to shine through which also created a real “three dimensional” RBG light strip inside the aluminum alloy body and the periphery of the keyboard. This is the origin of ‘Halo’.

The secret sauce that packs the punch for BBK is finally coming to linear switches. Enter Baby Raccoon, built with a extra-length single stage stem pole, and the same PA66 housings as BBK, Baby Raccoon complements the smooth, consistent feel of a linear switch with a snappy return.
