Installed in 1950s basement with 4 terracotta waste pipe. Previous toilet had no flange - apparently toilets used to be set in a bed of mortar. This worked wonderfully after chiseling away previous mortar for a level floor. Secured flange to concrete slab with tapcons and snugged up the internal hex bolts to expand the rubber gasket for tight seal against terracotta. Be careful not to overtighten the hex bolts. Seems like it will last a long time!

This arrived fast and Im sure would have done the job. However, I didnt realize my pipe was 3 inch rather than 4 inch so I had to return and order one that would fit my pipe. It appears to be well made and a great way to replace the toilet flange.

It feet to my old style cast iron pipe. Condition is good.

I installed this and screwed the flange down too for extra support. Time will tell, my old one lasted 5 years although it was only support by the 3 I.D. bolt adjusting screws.

Easy to install almost for any situation, and works like charm. Superb design.

Great product! I used it to replace a old rusted up iron one, my old house had old iron pipes and this seemed like the right option without having to used lead( or whatever the old method is) with the old style iron flange. Just make sure you tighten the three Allen screws to tighten up inside the old pipe

Exactly what is needed to convert old toilet (1948) to new toilet.

Well, had a wobbly toilet, went to tighten the bolts, and never tightened, so pulled it to find a broken flange. Metal pipe set in concrete foundation, not a lot of options to repair. This one seemed to be the only real DIY option. Ordered it, came in, installed it (simple install, just clean inside of current pipe, I used a wire wheel)press in fitting, making sure it is level and at correct height, tighten the 3 bolts a little at a time till tight. Put on wax ring and installed toilet. Works great with no leaks or wobble. I did not drill and screw into the concrete to secure, just the 3 bolts and rubber ring holding it in and so far so good. If I do start to notice any movement or wobble, I will pull it again and drill/screw in the flange.

I think this is a great idea, and it would have saved me a lot of time if it was compatible with my setup. We have a concrete slab foundation with ceramic tile floors in the bathrooms. I was dreading having to drill the concrete and use inserts for screws to replace the old style brass flange. The cast iron pipe does not come all the way up to the floor level, so the transition is concrete with a lead liner. As a result, the hole is not as round or straight as a pipe would be. The replacement flange would not go into my pipe far enough to sit flush with the floor. Also, the top of the flange is about a half inch thick, so it would have been too tall for my set up also, and the toilet would have rocked. Sent these back and got a prompt refund, so we appreciate the easy return policy. Ended up getting a Superior Tool 21015 SuperRing Closet Ring Replacement-Closet Flange Fitted for 1/4 Inch and 5/8 Inch Closet Bolts also available from Amazon. I had to get a concrete drill bit which was getting dull after nine holes (for two flanges) and used Tapcon concrete screws to anchor it. Also used a Fluidmaster 7530P8 Better Than Wax,Wax-Free Toilet Bowl Gasket. Both toilets are solid and leak free.

Raised our floor from adding tile work. Had a cast iron setup in the floor and the 1 side did not have a spot for the toliet bolt. Instead of replacing the whole cast iron setup I installed one of these. Install was fast, tightened it down and good to go. Been about 3 months now of use with no issues. Saved a ton of money with those product. Was not paid for this review or receive at a discount.
