OEMTOOLS 22369 1-1/16 Inch SAE Socket

This is a quality nut and definitely needed to change the anode rod on your water heater. This is the standard size needed for pretty much all home water heaters.

It’s a socket, it fits my Suburban RV water heater anode. Won’t see a high torque load so don’t anticipate any issues. Has a nice satin finish.

These larges sizes dont come in most kits. Needed one for my RAM1500 oil filter housing. Great fit. Works fine.

I bought this with one purpose in mind - using it with my electric impact gun from harbor freight, to remove the anode rod from my Rheem water heater so I could install a corro-protec. It succeeded in that duty so heres your five stars. Tossed it in my tool bag, no idea when Ill ever use it again.

I used it for removal of water heater part, worked perfectly, would definitely recommend.

Item is described as to be sued with a 3/8 drive. The one I received is for a 1/2 drive.

Solid build. But my screw nut was so rusted and tight, it didnt loose even using my longest ratchet with the max force I can do.
