Provided one has the correct crimper, this design of clamp is really excellent for permanent connections. Fast and solid. I would not use this clamp if removal is often needed. Great clamp design, faithful manufacturing of the clamp. I especially love the smaller size. This type of clamp is great extra insurance for irrigation hose connections. I have used these clamps for barbed connections, but have not used them to clamp to fittings that do not have a barb or enlarged end. I would not want to use this clamp on fuel lines without checking with the manufacturer.
