Greater than one weekWe have a small fiberglass shower at our vacation cabin and the shower head was installed for a much shorter person. My wife and I are both on the tall side (6 & 63) and our heads were above the shower head, not very easy to wash your hair. This raised the shower head up above our heads but did not put the shower head further from the wall. Like I said, just what we needed. It is a curved pipe, so not a lot of features to describe. What I can say is the finish is very nice, and when I tested the material with a magnet, it did not stick. So, it does appear to be stainless steel under the finished surface.

> 3 dayI prefer metal hoses on handheld showerheads because they look better and have a higher quality feel than plastic hoses. This hose is made with a metal sheath and ends that are chrome-plated to match many bathroom fixtures. All shower hoses stretch, but this hose stretches a lot more to about 150% of the original length. It has standard threads (for the USA) so it should connect directly to the water supply and the handheld showerhead. I like it better than the extra long hose I was using because it is more compact when not in use.

Greater than one weekMost handheld showers are connected to the water line near the showerhead, which is usually at least 5 feet from the bottom of the shower or tub. By default, most handheld showers have a five-foot long hose, and for me, they are never long enough for me to properly enjoy using a handheld shower. For those who have to use a shower chair to bathe, the 5-foot limitation is even more of a problem. This particular hose resolves those issues easily and conveniently. In most cases, replacing the hose involves unscrewing the connection at the water line and on the handheld showerhead. Fortunately, most of these are standardized in size, so a replacement hose like this will usually fit with no problem. After screwing on and tightening the connections to the new hose, youre ready to go. Installing mine took about 2 minutes. This hose has a stainless steel outer casing, but is designed to stretch from its standard 80 inches to a length of 120 inches, long enough for most any shower requirement. Ive experienced no leaks, no loss of water pressure, or any negative ramifications from replacing the hose. I would definitely order this product again if the need arose, and I have no reservations about recommending it to others. A hose like this should be standard with most handheld showerheads.

> 3 dayI got one like this in black for the master bathroom and realized it made my life better not having to hunch down to stand in the water. I ordered this one for the guest bath to let visitors (or my son who will likely be over six feet someday) experience a shower that feels more like rain. I’m leery of all off brand Teflon tape, so I didn’t use the included tape. It feels thin. I used the tape from the orange box store like I do for everything. It’s just superstition, but I don’t want any leaks. If you’re on the fence, give it a try. It’s worth it.

> 3 dayWe installed water filters on the shower pipe which brought the shower head down about 3 or 4 inches. Im not that tall, but the filters bring the showerhead down to an uncomfortable level. I had already installed one of these arms in our master bathroom so I also needed one for my daughters bathroom. It works as intended. Just like in my master bathroom, the old arm was a little bit of a challenge to unscrew. I was also trying to be careful not to torque the pipe in the wall, cause thatd be bad. Installation was a breeze and I like the fact that this arm comes with the teflon tape, 2 rubber gaskets and the cover plate to match.

14-04-2025I chose this to replace a plastic shower hose that was breaking down. I use a shower hose adapted to my bathroom sink for washing the tub stall, or hosing off large items. This hose has enough length for me, and I love the flexibility of it compared to the stiff and ungainly PVC hose I tossed out. However, as stated in the title, the outer coating has already started coming off. The flaking is very small and hard to see, but it started within a week of the first use of this hose. Since this hose functions perfectly fine and was fairly easy to adapt to my sink, Im reasonably happy with it.I am keeping an eye on the coating, and if the flaking worsens, I will come back to update this review. > 3 dayWe bought a house with a very low shower arm so we got this to fix the issue. Good quality, easy install, came with teflon tape and spacers for install. I was pretty impressed.
